Hombres T

Se trata de un camino donde uno se construye a sí mismo. Yo encontré que ese camino era común en muchas culturas. Desde la más remota antigüedad, se nos ha enseñado que la única libertad posible para el hombre: es su transformación voluntaria. R.R.

some little girls aren’t little girls it just takes us a while to realize it. I came out to my family last year as transgender, and in doing so saved my life, if you can’t tell from the picture, 14 was a bad year for me. For every kid feeling like I was, please just wait, just wait cause one day you’ll realize just how worth it the wait was. I know everyone says it, but it’s true, it will get better, just please stick around so you can see it come true.

Yep…more pancakes…

I’m still here and I’m actually almost 5 months on testosterone, I hadn’t even hoped to be this far into my transition at this point, I definitely wasn’t lying when I said it gets better (I even finally got to see Fall Out Boy live omg). It’s been a crazy year and I never expected this post to get so big but the reaction was so overwhelmingly positive and I got to meet so many amazing people because of it and I couldn’t be more thankful. Love you!!

First 4 pictures are me pre-everything. The first is prom night, I think you can see how unhappy I was. The fifth and sixth pictures are my first day on T. Seventh and eighth are right around my one year on T and right after I had Top Surgery. The last two are me the last few months, 6 months post op and 1 year 7 months on T.

My mind, body, and spirit have drastically improved in the last few years. Letting myself be comfortable with who I am and trusting myself to make the right decisions without other’s influence are probably the best decisions I ever made.

It’s Transgender Awareness Month and it’s important to recognize your journey and how far you have come. Many don’t make it to the place I am at today and for that I am both humble and grateful.

The world can be a scary place but having you all following my story, supporting my identity and projects, and being there when I was and still am in need–has made an enormous and immeasurable difference in my life.

Thank you for sticking with me this long.

2 ½ weeks vs 10 months post op. Hard to believe it’s been 10 months already since the day that changed my quality of life so much. My first picture really shows just how good a job my surgeon did, you can barely see my incisions. They got thicker and more red looking as they healed. The scars are fading well. It’s worth noting just how much muscle I’ve gained (I’m 11 months on T) without working out.
