Got triggered by the face of the person who Broke me on Twitter first thing this morning & got quickly hit with two more.
Went to the post orifice and it was every bit aa awful as I was afraid it would be. I’m such a horrible person for asking the person to please step away out of my space. Who gets the shit after politely asking four times? “People are doing their best they can” and I pointed out that yes, I was. I forced myself to go into a building where I already knew would be full of unmasked postal workers.
Took Oasis around the block. Moose the cat was in the top step & wouldn’t budge. Oasis went ballistic.
Went back to bed. Complained all afternoon.
Went outside & pulled weeds.
Played stupid games.

Paid my utilities. Paid my tax preparer. Now I have to run to Salinas to remove my bed from the room it has been living in and I kinda need to use my money for gas so getting worried about my end of month bills. Also I’d really like to have a nice birthday. So grateful to the people who have bought art and the people who let me play with their dogs and Especially Grateful for Help. Thank You All.

It might be a good idea to ask permission when copying somebody else’s intellectual property. I photographed this cat and posted this picture on February 3. The owner of the cat is an expert in Photoshop and says
“ I do not believe its a drawing either I think the person cropped the original and used multiple filters to get this. This individual is a fake. What this person did is easily done in photoshop like programs there is no hand drawing involved.”
I am reporting them to Tumblr. It might be a good idea to let every visual artist you know to block them.

Help me have a Happy Birthday?
My last three birthdays sucked and I’m turning 60 this year. Yes, really.
Three years ago today I was Happy. I had a healthy social life, a reasonably priced apartment in a beautiful place, a business that was raising thousands of dollars for Charity, a beautiful dog, and a best friend to go out and do things with.
Three years ago on 2/24 I said something from love that the other person didn’t like. From that day on my life has steadily deteriorated. Things got worse and worse. I lost my best friend. Who told me on my 57th birthday that I was inadequate as a friend. I lost my respect for one of my favorite people on the planet on my following birthday. I also became Homeless on that birthday, when I turned in my keys to an intolerable situation. Six weeks later my dog died of cancer and I got a letter from my other best friend telling me I was no longer welcome in my social circle within five hours of each other. Last year I spent my birthday alone so nobody else could hurt me.
I am turning 60 in five weeks. What do I want for my birthday?
A little Self-esteem.
All my life I’ve wanted a tattoo. Well, now that I’m old and the only sagging wrinkly part of my body is my face and I want my tattoo, dammit. I want a dragonfly shaped like a semi-colon on my left shoulder.
I want pretty hair. I want to get it styled and colored. I want my curls to be glorious and my color to be subtly outrageous.
I want to feel pretty. I want to feel worth something. I deserve to feel good about myself.
I have a photographer who said she was willing to trade for a shoot. Making myself beautiful for the shoot? That’s gonna take bucks.
Can you help? Will you give me a percentage of a tattoo or hair job for my birthday?
I thought about doing a Formal fundraiser but honestly I can’t do the “paperwork”; don’t want to give my banking info to yet another online payment system when I already have Paypal. So I’m just gonna ask if you think it’s important that a Homeless, lonely, depressed Old Woman feels good about herself, here’s my Paypal. Don’t forget to mark it as a gift.
If there is anything left over I will put it toward buying myself a mobile home or tiny house on wheels as soon as my Social Security Disability is approved…
