It’s normal to wish things were different. But it’s a waste of time to dwell on it, and we can miss out the most important things in our life. Remember what you have: your favorite songs, your bed, books, your best friends, pretty sunsets, cute unique features, your dreams and aspirations. Life will never be perfect, but there will always be good things to be happy about at every moment.
when things and life in general feel overwhelming, remember to take pleasure in the little things whenever you’re able; a stranger who smiled, a dog who was excited to see you, a really good joke you heard, an interesting thought you had - try your best to put things in a different perspective: there can be bad times, but the small instances of good times can be things too look forward to
Failure is never easy to face, but it does have its positives. In making mistakes, you’re able to learn from them and improve yourself that way. So the next time you mess up, just remember that everyone has done it before and use it as a tool to do better the next time. You don’t have to beat yourself up for every mistake.
The creation of a single world comes from a huge number of fragments and chaos. — Hayao Miyazaki
