It's hard to talk to people because everyone is too busy, regardless how much they want to.
sometimes, they find themselves drawing. staring outside the window of that small room they shared with their team, or, what’s left of it. they would see flashes of lightning, knowing how unsafe it is to be near open spaces during these types of storms, but found themselves mesmerized.
it’s a little embarrassing to them so they would usually put the journal away, but fell asleep before doing so one night. nora found it after coming home from another tiring solo mission, and saw pictures of her drawn on the pages.
she didn’t pry any further as to respect their privacy, but felt herself tearing up each time the image of her surrounded by lotus flowers appeared in her mind as she drifted to sleep. the usual nightmares that plagued her were dulled by pretty pink eyes and a warm smile. it was something that brought her hope.
