i’m so mad because glenn’s death doesn’t even MAKE SENSE in the narrative context of the tv adaptation of twd. when glenn died in the comics, he was rick’s right hand dude and someone close to rick. that relationship doesn’t exist at this point in twd show because they gave greaseball daryl the role of right hand man at this point. with the direction twd has taken with the show, it would have made the most sense for daryl to die.
but nope. instead we have to see glenn die again just to fuel the daryl manpain. if negan wanted to truly weaken the group from a military perspective, it would have made sense to kill daryl. but because a bunch of white fangirls think that walking pile of cooking grease is hot or whatever, we have to deal with yet another death of a poc and it was super graphic.
