Colin when Pen flirting with him in that clip:
No but you guys do you ever think about how we will see Colin and Penelope being in love? Do you understand how momentous this is? We will see Penelope, as someone who does not conform to society's (bullshit) beauty standard, finally shine as a protagonist that does not follow the usual clichés expected of her place/role in the narrative. And we will see Colin Bridgerton (who also is not your usual romantic lead type, mind you) WILL LOVE HER UNCONDITIONALLY AND COMPLETELY. Do you not grasp how amazing it is? I don't even necessarily care about the sex (i do) but I am just talking about the romance of it all. I want to see Colin Bridgerton being so unapologetically in love with Penelope Featherington he is shouting from the rooftops. He will be ECSTATIC at the idea of marrying her and in the current times where men act like getting married is a chore or a yoke I for one am delighted to see him go absolutely unhinged and feral for Penelope.
As someone who never had that kind of affection, it gives me such a rush of serotoning to think about how happy Colin will be to be marrying Pen.

All's fair in love and poetry... [insp]
A Family portrait during the Spanish Flu, 1918 ♡
The European mind cannot comprehend what it was like to be a person who'd only had Hershey bullshit chocolate my entire life and then have European chocolate for the very first time and it made me realize why people were acting like that in the Willy Wonka movies
why can’t things be easy peasy lemon squeezy
In Bridgerton Season 3, one deviation from the book that I would love to see is...
Instead of “Would you kiss me?" from Penelope, we get a "Can I kiss you?" from Colin!!
I want Colin falling for Penelope because of His Lessons and initiating The Kiss.
I’m so obsessed with this scene for so many reasons. The way he continuously keeps catching her eye while he’s dancing with Cressida, the way Penelope is showing clear dislike for it but he doesn’t notice her dis-ease and instead continues to chat up Cressida to distract her, and then when he ends their dance the way he immediately darts for Pen and takes her hand so tenderly but with a hint of desperation, along with his whispered “Come with me.” It’s so urgent yet he’s trying to keep calm about things. But most of all, I’m obsessed with the way he did not have to keep a hold on her hand as they left the ballroom and down the hall into the private area, he didn’t HAVE to do that whatsoever but he made a point too nonetheless…
Bridgerton Season 3 Part I 99% Match ● 2020 • 3 Seasons
Just a reminder that these two cuties broke a piece of furniture together during a hot scene.
it seems like some of you don't really understand the social implications in regency england for an unpopular debutante when her good friend who also happens to be one of the most eligible bachelors of the ton declares that she's not worthy of courting in her own damn garden after being seen taking multiple liberties with her.
it has nothing to do with the fact that he doesn't return her feelings. it has everything to do with how absolutely careless he was with her. even if he didnt realise he was leading her on, that's what he did. he made things harder for a woman who already had so little by her side. he used to be one of the reasons she could stand being part of the ton, but in that moment he instantly became just like one of her bullies. and obviously that breaks her until she becomes what we saw in the sneak peek for s3.
people will see how her friends treat her and think it's fine to mock her to her face. she is the embarrassment, the laughingstock and it was fine when she thought she had the bridgertons by her side. but now she knows what colin really thinks of her. he validated all the bullies she had, when she was mocked for her looks or her shyness. that is such a painful betrayal, especially when not TWO FUCKING SECONDS ago he claimed that she was special to him!!!!!!!
is that not worthy of grovelling?????? cuz i fucking think it is.
The fact that Colin Bridgerton left his Penelope to travel the Mediterranean, and sailed AWAY from Greece to return to her.
Like SIR. SIR. What in the backwards Odysseus?!
I can’t wait to see Colin be as messy and unhinged as his other two siblings were during their seasons
Colin fans are so simple to please, we see a sliver of neck or lower cut shirt on him in the show and it’s like a man seeing a Victorian woman’s ankle for the first time we’re so starved… season 3 is gonna make us go insane.
u ever walking somewhere and become aware of your tits moving and go aw fuck im breasting boobily. im literally breasting boobily right now. :(
