Why would I be embarrassed for having interests I enjoy? My guess is that you’re really, really young. And that maybe you don’t actually have solid relationships with adults who have lives outside of parenting or work. But I hope for you that when you’re my age you have hobbies that bring you happiness. And that by that point you realize that trying to shame someone for being an adult only makes you look too immature to be in adult spaces, which Tumblr is.

When I was 20, I loved music, making art, writing and reading good stories, fashion, talking about popular culture, making friends, going to concerts… You’d be surprised how little changes when you’re my age. I just have way more money and time to enjoy those things now. I’m only 55. I’m not dead. I’m also not a “granny”, but even if I was, I’d probably still like all of those things.

Ageism isn’t cute, love. And I sure don’t ever see people telling men they shouldn’t go to football games or have their little “fantasy football leagues” or wear their favorite player’s merch. For every comment you guys like to say is misogynistic (but isn’t), this is one that really reeks of it.

KinnPorsche Fanfiction Recommendation List

When I started reading KinnPorsche fanfiction, there were barely 500 fics out there but then the series got famous and fics started flooding in at an unprecedented speed. Now there are more than 3000. I lost quite a few fics because I didn’t think to mark them out in time. Then I tried bookmarking but my bookmarks were already a mess so while it was better, it didn’t exactly help. That’s when I got the idea of maintaining an online document. Every fic I got interested in, I copied the link and put it in there with a few tags and a little comment.

I didn’t even think much about it until my friend asked me for KP fanfic recommendation and I gave her a link to this file. She yelled at me for not thinking to share it before this. When she calmed down enough, she told me to post it online. I hadn’t thought to do it before but once the idea was in my head, it wouldn’t leave. I felt like some fancy art collector absolutely enamoured with the idea of sharing what I had collected with the world. So here it is,

It’s not complete. There are many many more fics I have tucked around every nook and cranny of my online presence that I need to sniff out. VegasPete ones are not here yet (except for 2 new ones that I found interesting but haven’t had the chance to read yet) and so are the minor ship ones. I’ll get around to that sometime later this week. Even apart from that, new fics are still flooding in every hour. 

Currently, the list stands at 165 works. We’ll see how far we go. But for now,
