Minder Thysala Goodspell is a Taivan (high-elf) cleric. As one of the founding members of the Settled Sword she has outlived many adventures that she saw as close companions.

A kindhearted person that encourages teamwork in her allies, she is a voice of reason and patience. Most guild business is done through her.

Fang Darkstep, a Hari (Half-Drow) fighter in my custom pathfinder game, Chronica. He is a member of the Settled Sword adventuring guild.

A professional by all counts, Fang is a two-weapon fighting, slightly sadistic, but always reliable lad. He's also very arrogant.

Ceri Vaus, the Blyd (halfling) healer in my custom pathfinder setting, Chronica. She is a member of the Settled Sword, an adventuring guild.

Like many Blyd she's caring, fearless, and offers common sense advice to her companions.

Slightly late on posting this cause I haven’t been on Tumblr in a while, but I got a commission of my character Kalista Riversorrow from @for-peace-war‘s Pathfinder series, Chronica.

I really love how this came out, it’s a bit of a departure from what I usually get style wise but I thought the artist did a fantastic job. It was done by Soranokami on ArtistnClients in a very speedy fashion, I highly recommend checking her out when she opens her commissions back up.

Kalista’s been really fun to play thus far, and I can’t wait to see how she develops in the future! That is, if she can stop getting grabbed by monsters anyway :^)

...The Past.

0_Kenji: >> sp1egel: See you, girl.

She read the messages over again. Was it the second time? The tenth? The hundredth? Hikaru lost count of the amount of times she had read those final three messages from Kenji since he had sent them. She still hadn’t responded back. She wasn’t going to.

There was no need to.

I’m so fucking dead.

…so why am I less scared of dying than I was in the last world?

The question disturbed Hikaru deeply. Death was always frightening, even when she tried to act for years that she didn’t care at all about such a thing happening to her. After all, dad was gone, her mom might as well have died too with her drinking, and her sister would find a way to move on from it. Being dead didn’t change anything, other than she would no longer be stuck with the pain and loneliness she had felt since her father passed.

Freedom, she thought, would be hers. But when Miura held that sword in his hands, cutting down one classmate of hers down after another, she felt afraid. More afraid than she had ever felt before. Hikaru, who had prided herself on being the coolest person who never made a show of it, was anything but cool.

Maybe if I hadn’t been scared, I wouldn’t have died along with the rest of them. I don’t know if I could have saved them – fuck no, I couldn’t have. But maybe I would have known what would’ve come next.

But this felt different. Was it the looming sense of doom, rather than a sudden explosion that gave her time to think about it? The knowledge that she would be hunted - and maybe not found tomorrow, or the next week, or the next year - gave her an odd sense of comfort. She knew the end was coming, she could say goodbye, she could make things right, she could –

No. Your life isn’t over yet, Hikaru.

Maybe I am dead. Maybe I wasn’t even alive to begin with.

There’s only one way I can find out. But until that moment comes - I gotta run. The past may catch up eventually, or maybe I’ll run back into the past. But for now, going forward is the only thing I can do. That I should have done in my last life.

Run, Hikaru.

Run.

I don’t really have a title for this one. It’s just the end of Yamamoto Taiga’s story in season 1 of @for-peace-war ‘s japanime game. It only really works after following along with a very dense tabletop campaign. But I was proud of writing it, and got emotional doing so. So I want to show it off.

In the afternoon heat, morning glories withered. Their vines, along with bitter gourds, clogged up the window as they sneaked up the side of the inpatient wing, forcing the light to filter through with a sickly jungle glow. Summer was coming, and earlier than last year. Time kept playing its games.

Taiga realized he’d slid the yearbook much farther down his lap from where he’d begun. How many hours he had spent glaring at one glossy page, seeing the warped dents of his and his classmates’ pens better than the ink used to write the messages themselves. Between them, fresher marks, leaving deeper wells in the page. There was no space for an unbroken line, so the kanji spilled out onto the page like rent innards. The results were much less poetic than he’d hoped after the almost choreographed haphazardness of how they were written.

The Future

//I felt like I’ve been losing my writing ability a bit with how dry my classes this semester have been so far, and wanted to take a creative break between watching lectures and writing responses/papers and just write something for my Sunrise character for fun. Enjoy.

“What are you going to do now that you’re done with school?”

The question rang in Hikaru’s ears days later, having come up during a conversation with her sister for their first meeting since Hikaru’s graduation. She laughed it off then, dodging the question entirely and bringing the attention towards the ramen they were chatting over. She knew that Eiko wasn’t happy, but her sister hasn’t pressed the issue since then.

Couple of people got their shit figured out already, of course. The overachievers of Reimei City. Hikaru stuck a cigarette in her mouth, taking out her lighter. I’ve seen a couple of them sticking together. Kaito’s moving up, pretty sure Giichi would be willing to step up as well to give him a hand. She took a drag on the cigarette, letting the ash fall carelessly onto the pavement. Sure as hell won’t be me. They’ll probably forget about me eventually anyways, although sometimes I wondered if they even knew who I was to begin with.

She checked the kickstand on her motorcycle absently, taking another drag on the cigarette. Don’t know where that leaves me, though. Always did just kind of wing it, sis. Still…maybe that’s part of what you do once you get out of high school. Or at least give it some thought. Damn, what do people think of? Their parents? Mom, well…Eiko said she was trying to get better, but I still don’t give much of a fuck what she thinks right now. I give her credit for honestly trying though, so maybe our relationship isn’t irreparable. And dad, well…he’d just tell me to follow my heart. I could always become a mechanic like him, but eh…

Hikaru looks at the motorcycle, her father’s final gift to her before he had passed from the cancer. Sorry, dad. You’d understand though. You were pretty happy when Eiko told you she wanted to be a police officer…she didn’t quite reach that height, but a lawyer is pretty damn close. Can’t say I am quite the same shining example of an upstanding citizen, but I suppose things could be worse too.

Hikaru reached up with one hand, rubbing her neck as she took one final drag on her cigarette before ashing it out on a nearby tray. She began to walk back to her motorcycle, although she stopped after seeing a flier on a nearby wall that stood out from the rest - perhaps annoyingly so. The bright red background with popping yellow text was hard on the eyes to say the least, but it did sound interesting…

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES??

We at Takahashi Cycles are looking for a driver to race for us in the next upcoming national road racing circuit, and what better to choose one of Reimei City’s own than holding a race of our own! The winner will be able to represent Takahashi Cycles, and bring themselves fortune and fame in the process!

More details can be inquired from the contact number listed below…

-

There were several strips remaining, and Hikaru hesitated for a moment. Is this what I really want? I mean, I have been doing this for a while, but I’m nowhere near the best. I suppose it wouldn’t hurt…

She tore off the strip with the contact information, reading it once to herself and then stuffing it in her pocket, returning to her bike and removing the kickstand.

Here goes nothing.

Crowley Robynson is a 10th Generation Brujah Anarch who is a part of @for-peace-war‘s 1942 Campaign, The Sanguine Line. Finally surrendering the belonging’s of her sire, Crowley finally looks toward the future and to carve her own path, although whatever lays at the end of that path is yet to be seen…

This piece was done by Zoeragez on Artists&Clients, who I’ve previously gotten work from. She was wonderful to work with once again, was open to the changes I had and worked rather quickly. Definitely recommend giving her a look when you can! I’m very happy with how it came out, and it makes me really look forward to the final act in Vesp’s game, whenever that may come.

A (belated) birthday gift for @for-peace-war, featuring a scene from his 1942 campaign between my character, Crowley Robynson, and one of the NPCs he plays, the Baron of Ede Jack Rufus. One of my favorite RP scenes I’ve ever participated in tbh, and one that I was glad to share in his campaign.

Thanks for being a good storyteller and even better friend, I’m really glad that you give me the opportunity to participate in your games cause they’re fun as hell, and I look forward to continue playing in more in the future. :)

This piece was done by PandaCappuccino, who was fantastic to work with and did great with this piece! They also worked at a pretty solid pace, I’d definitely recommend giving them a look at some point if you’re looking for commissions!

Svetlana Vladimirovna Zuyeva, Prince of Augusta, is a 9th Generation Lasombra of the Camarilla. This piece was provided by the absolutely wonderful barn-swallow over on DeviantArt, who I always have an outstanding commission experience with.
Initially a member of the coterie created by Prince Valerie du Courdray of Savannah, Svetlana’s political acumen and rapid acquisition of favor saw her projected on a course from seneschal to the prince of her own domain.
She is known for her dark sense of justice, exacting expectations of herself and her followers, and her desire to ensure that whatever lingers further in the Abyss does not emerge to harm those she has determined to be her family.

Happy, happy birthday @for-peace-war (a day late)! You have always been the best friend ever (to me and many other people) and we are all very lucky to have you. Your creative efforts are significant, compelling and a true joy to take part in, and your kind heart makes you the perfect kind of person to always want in your life.

The eve of Svetlana’s appointment to Prince of Augusta commemorated the beginning of a new era for the Camarilla of the southern states of America and the end of her time as seneschal of Savannah. Here she is seen finding a moment of respite in the midst of the gala thrown in her honor, only to turn and greet her coterie as they come from far places across the world to celebrate her rise in status. Though hardly a woman known for expressing much mirth, the slight smile that curls the corners of her lips is indication that what loneliness she may have felt as a Prince divorced from the neonate she had once been was, for the moment, temporarily relieved.

Svetlana has always been seen in figure-hugging, mermaid cut noir gowns and I really wanted to see her in beautiful masquerade gear, so I worked with the artist to put together a dark and divine ensemble! Even at her finest, she still keeps the gloves of the demon Eligos fashionably displayed.

This is such a beautiful piece. Svetlana will always have a special place in my heart as my first foray into the World of Darkness and this captures her at one of her rare moments of happiness.

It’s a wonderful gift. Thank you! 😭

On artists.

I ask that people please reblog art from BoL’s artists so that they get more visibility. A like is nice, but reblogs will show them to more people and hopefully increase their marketability.
