(Just wanted to take a second to thank each and every one of you who follow me and rp with me! I'm not always on all the time and I do take awhile to get back to certain threads, which I apologize profusely for, but Im grateful I have people who want to follow and roleplay with me, it means a lot! I'm not always certain I'm the best quality but Yeul means the absolute world to me so it's an honor to play her and I enjoy writing her so much so I appreciate people giving me a chance even if I'm not the most quality Yeul out there! Second Chances (Lightning Returns Spoilers) - Closed
Noel turned and darted a look at the direction Yeul pointed out to him out of instinct, weapons at the ready. When he saw it was merely a butterfly, however, he let out a sigh of relief. As Yeul seemed mesmerized by the creature, he himself became entranced at its simple beauty. Aside from the wildlands, there weren’t many butterflies or innocent creatures left in the world of Nova Chrysalia. Even if there were, the ability to appreciate them was much clouded by the knowledge that the clock was constantly ticking down to doomsday. People didn’t take as much time to appreciate the simple things when the world’s expiration date was common knowledge.
As Noel noticed Yeul’s interest, he would gently make his way toward the small creature, sticking out his hand to invite the insect to land upon. Being a hunter didnt’ always mean having to kill beasts, it also meant understanding nature and befriending it as well. After a few moments passed, the creature landed happily on his index finger, which he stuck out right in front of Yeul so she could take a closer look. “Just don’t startle it. But I’m sure he wouldn’t mind a bit of conversation, he’s probably just as new to this world as we are.” He smiled gently to Yeul, knowing she would happily oblige and befriend the creature. “A butterfly is a suiting creature to find. Pulse was born, it became a chrysalis with Nova Chrysalia (hmm, wonder if that’s where the name comes from?), and then emerged this beautiful new world.”
Yeul's eyes were wide, entranced by the beauty before her but as Noel had advised, she did nothing to startle the creature, not wanting it to fly away. No doubt there would be more butterflies to see but this was the first creature that had made itself known and Yeul wanted a few more moments with it. The way Noel had been able to charm it made Yeul happy but she was content with just watching as it crawled up and down Noel's finger. "This world is so beautiful already and we've only seen a small portion of it.." The idea that there was so much else out there delighted Yeul and made her want to explore it all. Though she addressed Noel her eyes remained on the creature, still on his finger. "You're so beautiful!" She said softly, and though she wanted to reach out and "pet" the butterfly, she refrained from doing so. "You're going to be so happy in this new world!"

(This has been a hell of a week. I just found out my dad's cousin who is only 38 suffered a stroke on Sunday and she's being taken off of life support tomorrow. Even if she started to breathe on her own she'd have no memory and would be unable to walk or talk again. Not asking for any sympathy, I guess I just need to write about it, I'm just in shock and deeply upset about it. She and I didn't have the best of relationships but I'm still very saddened and would never wish what happened to her on anybody. Despite being upset at some things she did and said she never deserved anything like this and she's leaving behind a daughter which makes it all the more sad. I'm just in shock over this whole thing and don't even know how to handle it. We weren't super close but damn, what a horrible thing to have happen. I'm upset there won't be any closure with us. Even if we weren't the best of friends it would have been nice to clear the air and let go of the negativity. Ugh, I'm just rambling now, I just need to talk and process this. I can't stop crying about it.)
