Call me Brains! Adult. Aussie. They/He. I draw and I write and am very much hoping that one day I'll publish my stories as graphic novels. I reblog things that I like and this is your warning that I indulgently reblog posts that have body horror, gore and just horror-stuff in general. Interests are: The Magnus Archives, The Magnus Protocol, The Dark Crystal, Sanders Sides, Team Fortress 2, Re Animator, Transformers (mostly DJD focused DAMN I love those bois), Good Omens, Malevolent. Also there will be lots of me talking to myself as I drag myself through the quagmire that my path to finishing my graphic novel projects.

Okay but (aquarium buzz?) that's actually (blanket matches projector case) (something stuck under thumbnail) not a bad (left the chip bag open) way of (comic books on table out of alignment) (should adjust them) (is that an OCD symptom? (Don't have that) (Mom used to tell you you did) ("I don't have OCD mom, I just like things a certain way.")) demonstrating (demonstrating, defenstrating, shove a man out a window for a defenstration demonstration (should I post that seperately? Kinda funny)) (this is getting long) (I should put some letters in bold so people can actually read what I'm saying) what it's like (buzz changed frequency) (neighbor made a noise upstairs (what's he doing?) probably his kid) (Microwave) to have to (to have two, halve two too) focus through (threw, thru, throo) (has that frame on the wall always been crooked?) all this ("look at all those chickens!") other bullshit

One more joke hate: You may claim to be a woman but biologically you are a featherless biped and thus a man.

Finally a good argument for why I'm actually a man

if you told diogenes the cynic about being trans he'd be like "lol that's a sick troll you're epic" and you'd be like "diogenes no i'm serious" and he'd be like "lol that's even better lmao those guys are so mad about it" and then he'd start going by new original neopronouns every single day specifically to piss off the whole symposium

I just had an idea for a really dumb comedy sketch where a transphobe starts ranting about what really makes a women a woman, and diogenes returns each time with a different cis woman or outwardly femme intersex person that doesn't meet the criteria saying "behold, a man!"

"a woman has XX chromosomes"

*Diogenes with an androgen insensitive XY cis woman*: behold, a man!

"Nono, a woman can bear children!"

*Diogenes with someone who has medical complications associated with pregnancy*: "behold, a man!"

"nono, a woman produces the large gamete"

*Diogenes with a postmenopausal cis woman* "behold, a man!"

Trans Rights With Diogenes! coming to PBS

Some idiot: only women can produce eggs!

*Diogenes holds up a chicken* Behold! A woman!

➡️ Content warnings on fiction are a courtesy.

➡️ Not every medium of fiction and storytelling has or is expected to have content warnings or extensive tagging.

➡️ Print novels do not traditionally warn for content in any way.

➡️ Until AO3 came along, fanfiction did not traditionally warn for content in any significant way.

➡️ An author is only obligated to warn for content to the degree mandated by the format they publish their fiction on.

➡️ Content warnings beyond the minimum are a courtesy, not an obligation.

➡️ 'Creator chose not to warn' is a valid tag that authors are allowed to use on AO3. It means there could be anything in there and you have accepted the risk. 'May contain peanuts!'

➡️ Writers are allowed to use 'Creator chose not to warn' for any reason, including to maintain surprise and avoid spoilers.

➡️ 'Creator chose not to warn' is not the same thing as 'no archive warnings apply'.

➡️ It is your responsibility to protect yourself and close a book, or hit the back button if you find something in fiction that you're reading that upsets you.

➡️ You are responsible for protecting yourself from fiction that causes you discomfort.

can everyone be normal about masculine presenting trans women. for the love of god can everyone please be fucking normal about masculine presenting trans women.

hey guys you understand that when you say women don't owe you femininity it includes trans women right. you guys know that trans women don't need to be feminine to be considered women right. right. guys. you know that right. right guys. Right Guys.

listen to me okay listen to me. trans women can be comfortable being masc. it does not mean they're not trans women. sometimes, and i know this is going to be a shock to some of you, but sometimes trans people can be trans and not look like their gender. do you hear me are you fucking processing what im saying right now

the problem with reading and writing leading to a strong vocabulary is that you tend to know the vibe of words instead of their meanings.

if I used this word in a sentence, would it make sense? absolutely. if you asked me what it meant, could I tell you? absolutely not.

figure out what the word means from context clues while reading -> use the word in a sentence while writing -> realise you're not actually certain what the word means -> panic about your sentence not making sense even though it hasn't been pinged as grammatically incorrect -> look up the definition of the word because You Must Know -> it means exactly what you thought it meant -> oh, good! :) -> immediately forget the definition -> repeat forever
