HELLO I'M OFFERING HEADSHOTS Very self explanatory. Cheap headshots! No WIPs, but I will fix mistakes I made that are not due inaccurate references. I will attempt to complete them in 1-2 weeks from payment received, but it might take up to 1 month. If you need the headshot(s) to be completed by a certain date, please contact me to discuss! There are two options! 1. Regular flat colored headshots. Fairly self-explanatory! Lined and flat colored headshots, with some textures and highlight details. You can request for a simple colored graphic as a background, otherwise transparent background. > > Base price is 12 usd per headshot > > > Examples: https://imgur.com/a/xLq2zny 2. "Wildcard" headshots. These might include - experimental art style, experimental coloring styles, experimental brushes... anything! They might be grayscale or halftoned, have shading, limited palette, be painterly, be dramatic b&w only, etc. They can also just be regular flat colored headshots if I feel like drawing more of those. Basically, it can be anything I feel like doing at the moment! Evelyn! Older, not particularly "important" character (count how many times I've drawn him in like. 10 years) but I've been wanting to transport him from his fandom origins and add him to some original setting. I don't know if I'll ever really use him for anything, but I think he as a fun design and everyone needs a cringeboy or two... I'm not sure if anyone still remembers his original design (hi if you do), but I streamlined most aspects and remover some details. There's details I miss from his fandom design that won't work anymore and were thus omitted, but... he is, more or less, the same character, now in my completely original setting, free from the shackles of azeroth. So anyway, this is Evelyn Tsujii. He is part of Val and Beriith's setting, and in fact he and Val know each other from the University. Don't expect to see him in the story any time soon, though if I ever get the main story to the point where I can work some side stuff for reals, he might feature in a small prequel comic... ANYWAY. Yeah.

I'm feeling a bit... clogged up on art, so I drew some gnomes as a warmup.

These are the three different types of gnomes that exist in... my still unnamed fantasy world. I'll rename it one day soon, dw.

Common gnomes are what most people think when they hear "gnome", and they are basically thought as the "default" gnome, even if this isn't really fair for the other two gnome types. They are the most populous gnome type, and despite their small size, they're politically and culturally very relevant on the... still unnamed continent Val's and Beriith's story takes place. Southern gnome is a misnomer -- they don't live in southern regions by any metric, but they're called that to differentiate them from snow gnomes, also called northern gnomes.

Field gnomes are by far the largest gnome subtype, and are also called dwarves. They share a region with common gnomes, and are culturally mostly interchangeable with them. Compared to more urban common gnomes, dwarves traditionally are more rural, but this isn't a hard or fast rule, and there are plenty of city-living dwarves in the region. In more remote areas that don't see many members of taller races of the setting, dwarves are sometimes stereotyped as brute muscle due to their comparatively large size.

Snow gnomes are the smallest gnome type, and distinct from other types of gnomes regionally, culturally and linguistically: while there are some cultural similarities and loan words, they are different. Snow gnomes live in the northern parts of the continent (hence, both "snow gnome" and "northern gnome") and are culturally somewhat insecure about being compared to other gnomes and feeling overshadowed by them. Despite, or perhaps because, their small sizes, tomtes by far the most likely type of gnome to stab you if you piss them off. They even have a tradition of carrying a knife wherever they go (and related, they also have a coming of age tradition of whittling your own knife handle from birch wood).
