so, i’m remaking. you can find me here. poi 5x04 really shook me and made me realize some things, and i really feel like i can’t participate in this fandom anymore the way i have been, although if that means i’ll just be doing it at a smaller degree or if i’m leaving it entirely is to be determined. either way, i feel like i need a new start and if you’re just following me for poi, i wouldn’t recommend following me again. 

if you don’t understand what was so bad about poi, i’ve talked about my issues with it extensively on my twitter all throughout today and yesterday. if after going through those, you still support the episode, please don’t refollow me.

Am I the Only One… didn’t see this IR romance coming at all?

Am I the only one… who would prefer to see white fave with anyone but the non-white person the narrative has chosen for them?

Am I the only one… who thinks IR couple doesn’t fit together?

Am I the only one… who was hoping there would be no love story whatsoever in this show or movie with a person of color in the lead?

When you become disabled, the narrative is always about whether or not you’ll be able to do the things abled people do. Whether or not you’ll be able to completely compensate for your disability with no outside help.

What we should teach newly disabled people is that it’s okay to be disabled. It’s okay if you can’t do things or if you have to do things differently than you used to. This is so important because pushing someone beyond their limits can be damaging both mentally and physically.
