Fashion is a form of self-expression.
This is a magazine-style zine focusing on fashion and beauty and featuring Haikyuu captains. We are looking for artists and writers who are interested in collaborating on pieces such as red carpet interview articles, fashion week critiques, fashion and beauty thinkpieces, quizzes, hair and make-up blurbs, morning and evening routines, style guides, advertisements, and so on -- things that are typically found in a fashion magazine! Artists and writers will be assigned a captain and a style of fashion based on their preferences listed in the app.
Artist requirements:
- Please prepare a total of three sample pieces, at least one of which must have a full-color background not including solid colors, all of which should be finished and created in 2018 or later.
- All samples should be SFW
- Please prepare a link to a portfolio such as Instagram or Tumblr tag with 2-5 recent pieces.
We will be judging on the following criteria: anatomy, coloring, background, and composition.
Writer requirements:
- Please prepare a total of three sample pieces of your best work, at least one of which should be Haikyuu.
- Total word count for all sample pieces should be no more than 3,000 words (average of 1,000 words per sample).
- All samples should be SFW
- Please prepare a link to a portfolio such as AO3 or a Tumblr tag.
We will be judging based on the following criteria: grammar & spelling, characterization, style, and storytelling.
