He furrowed his brows, lines creasing his face. “Of what?” Couldn’t be of him. She’d been coming around more and more. So that wouldn’t make sense. “The storm?” He asked, eyes flickering to the window and distant lightning.
“Yes, well, actual food is good too. Not just scraps.” Devan told him, opening up the fridge. “Go take your shower, I’ll have something ready when you get out.”
“Yeah yeah yeah I’m going.” He grunted and walked towards his bedroom and closed the door. Keegan grabbed a change of clothes and walked into his bathroom and cranked the water up hot and high and climbed in, letting out a hiss as the first spray of water hit his skin.
Devan rolled her eyes a smile on her face. She found everything she needed to and starting on the food. The young girl was still a little tired but at least she hadn’t had any nightmares. Once they’d eaten she’d have to see if she could shower.

“Really I have no idea how you survive.” She said almost with a small laugh. “Okay.” Devan thought about going out and getting him food for the house but, didn’t think he’d accept it this time. Putting that thought aside the small girl got to work on finding everything she needed to cook them breakfast.
“Practice eased. I’ve lived for more than a few years off of whatever I happened to have in the house that day. It’s always served me well.”
“Yes, well, actual food is good too. Not just scraps.” Devan told him, opening up the fridge. “Go take your shower, I’ll have something ready when you get out.”
