This always gets a reblog.
a gradeschool in my area had a scabies outbreak. they had to gas the school to get rid of it. fumes everywhere. health department said to keep kids home for a week and bag all possessions
instead they just put bags over some stuff and sent the kids to school. here’s a facebook post about it with some pictures and an explanation, please share if you can. our local school system pulls this stuff all the time, we’re trying so hard to get something done about it. hopefully this time something might happen with enough publicity
These kids could end up with some serious respiratory or even neurological issues from inhaling industrial-strength pesticides. Parents need to contact some attorneys. This is child abuse. They are literally poisoning the kids.

I love this. Part of wearing a binder is that sometimes your shirt slips and it’s visible, it’s so fun to see this shown in media because it’s such a little thing but it’s a little trans thing and those things never get represented

This is what people mean when they say that privilege is invisible to the people who have it. It never occurred to him that knowing someone’s orientation would be important to anyone, because to him, a straight man, representation is everywhere. It’s overabundant. It’s so common as to be taken for granted. To him, representation of his sexuality isn’t important because it’s there.
I love that he learned. I love watching people understand their own blind spots when it comes to privilege.
