I think its fine if everyone still refers to Kagome constantly as Kikyo's Reincarnation, but they should also refer to Inuyasha exclusively as Kikyo's Ex-Boyfriend so he too can be only relevant insofar as he relates to Kikyo. In fact why bother giving any characters their own names when they in some way knew Kikyo. Naraku is The Incel That Tried To Kill Kikyo. Sesshomaru is The Guy Who's Brother Dated Kikyo. The sequal should be called Kikyo and The Tree of Ages and Moroha calls her mom bc why not. Sorry did i say Moroha i mean Kikyo's Reincarnation Once Removed.

IF ONE MORE CHARACTER CALLS KAGOME A REINCARNATION I'M GOING TO FLIP A TABLE

I'm sorry, Kikyo is legendary for guarding the jewel, but Kagome literally helped destroy Naraku and she destroyed the jewel itself. It doesn't make any sense at all that she would be known as only a reincarnation. She'd be known as Kagome, the priestess who with her friends and hanyou boyfriend defeated Naraku and destroyed the jewel. She went beyond what Kikyo did.

I don't hate Kikyo, but Sunshine doesn't make it easy for people to like or even appreciate her.

No wonder people want her to stay dead, because you force Kagome under her shadow. It's borderline disrespectful to Kagome.

It's annoying. What's even more annoying is that the makers of this show know this, they're deliberately doing this.

Paint-on-glass animation is a technique for making animated films by manipulating slow-drying oil-paints on sheets of glass as the animator gradually alters the shapes they create, and during this process, a camera records each finished ‘frame’.

When adapting ONE’s Mob Psycho 100, director Yuzuru Tachikawa wanted to adapt the source material in fantastic ways. And so, by combining the talents of a skilled staff, an anime with an incredible mix of animation techniques was born.

Mob Psycho’s ending, and a good deal of the paranormal scenes are a complex product of paint-on-glass animation, done by Miyo Sato, a Tokyo University of Arts graduate and animator who has had her work nominated for multiple international animation contests.
