She sat up high in the crystal tree on the top of the hill, her red eyes lazily scanning her zone for anything and anyone out of the ordinary.
"Hmmm, sure been quiet 'round here lately... nobody's done come t' visit..."

Two identical kids sat there, one holding the candy, the other holding a rather fuzzy creature.
"Heheheh! Whatcha gunna do 'bout it then?"
"Hey... that was rude..."
"What?! I'm just pokin' fun!"
"You don't even know him..."
"Sure I do! He's just a wimpy lil' sharky boy ain't he? Look! He even has a wimpy little creature!"

"hmm?" Bears ears perked up some ,before going back down" heh oh hi! um no I’m okay, I just need to find a hose to wash my house off, heh, hi I’m Bear, who are you? your feathers are really pretty"
"Huh? Ah-" The bird smiled and hid behind her wing as if she were blushing at the compliment.
"Why thank yew, ma'am! Yer fur's quite nice yerself, ahaha. Mah name is Deadcoat, or DC, if yer prefer. Yer a friend of Koto, yes? I've seen 'im around before. If... you ever need some help, just let me know."

The colorful egg started to shake a crack, before a small creature seemed to pop out from it.
It let out a happy squeaky growl, before flopping over and yawning.
Congrats on your new little friend
Needless to say DC was surprised when she woke up; not only did she not have any nightmares all through the night, but there was also something warm and fuzzy snuggled up against her face.
"Um H-Here Deadcoat. I k-know you will take care of it"
Soft pattering can be heard as a creature enters the Room. "Hello o-old friend, I do hope I'm not interrupting anything." They start, the sound of crunching can be heard at they rub their fingers together uneasily.
The large room appeared very dark from looking in from the entry way, but the darkness did not muffle the immediate sounds of shuffling and footsteps running towards him— suddenly two human arms scooped him up and hugged him, before she could even skid to a halt.
"Langly!!! Is that really you?!" She hugged him tightly and spun around with him. "Where have you been all this time?? I been so worried! Ah-"
She set him down gently after realizing her rather excited actions.
"Sorry about being so hyper, haha… I’m so glad you’re back!"
His eyes seemed to almost bulge out of his head from the suddenness of it all. “D-Deadcoat?” His fingers lightly touched the sides of her arms, he wasn’t familiar with how she looked, his eyes danced over bits of her as if he were trying to fit a bird where she now stood. He couldn’t. Nevertheless he was happy to hear her voice.
"I’ve been he-here and there." He started. " Just kind of dri-drifted off. I’m happy I am where I should be now." He hummed, his fingers lightly danced on her arms. " It’s fantastic to see you again."
With the light from outside shining against the girl now, there was, in fact, very large wings attached to her back that resembled the wings of the bird Langly knew as Deadcoat.
After a moment she realized her appearance herself.
"Oh! oops, sorry ya had t’ see my human form like that!" She awkwardly half-hopped half-danced around the back of him, and when she walked in front of him again the human was the recognizable bird he knew. Yet, she acted like it was just a normal thing.
"How have you been? How’s yer health, have you been feelin’ well? How is Jonah? Oh, I have so many questions! Here, let’s go outside and talk, it’s much too gloomy in this dark house!"
A smile stretched on his lips, he was relived to see she was back in a form he recognized once again, “Th-there she is, that’s the bird I’ve known so very well.” He gave a small kiss to her feathery cheek. ” S-so many questions.” He hummed, he chose to follow her out to the outside, he never really got the chance to see the zone this guardian resided in. Better late than never.
"I ha-have been fairly well, as has been Jonah… As far as i can tell. You never know with that beast. one d-day he’ll be the kindest creature, but once you turn your back he’s b-breathing down you’re neck…" They gave an uneasy swallow before continuing. " As for my health, I’m as healthy as I was when you first m-met me, I’m just a bit skinny and a t-tad taller." He gave her a small smile.
"Have you anymore questions for me, d-dear?"
She smiled at the kiss and at his happy expression.
"Oh, I'm glad to hear that! Well, except for Jonah I 'spose, but he is who he is. How about yer zone? Do you have any elsen? Has anything changed?"
The ground of her own zone felt as if they were walking on glass, yet it was sturdy like a marble floor. Yet, looking around more, there was things growing out from the solid surface, like trees and plants that look like they were made from the same material. As they walked down a slight hill, the flowing sound of a lake or river could be heard from a distance.
"Speaking of elsen! I think there's a lotta business goin' on t'day, so there might be a lotta commotion down by the houses."
One of the disfigured heads on the beast did not face forward like the rest, but actually faced behind the body towards the back of the creature. It stared at Miedo as he followed, yet, oddly, the eyes of the head began to droop, as if the creature was tired. Looking at them...
The creature stepped out into the Nothingness and walked a few feet before coming to a dead halt. Oddly enough, there were no entrances to any zones around them. He stayed silent for a while, but when he did speak his voice seemed startlingly loud.
"You might want to cover your ears, Dr. Miedo."
Before he could be questioned about how he knew the doctor's name, he walked forward a few feet, sat back on his hindquarters and threw his large heads up to face above; releasing an excruciatingly loud noise that was the combination of the deep-voice heads' loud, beast-like roaring and the high-voice heads' making terrifying screams. It seemed to last longer than it did, for even after he returned to be silent it still lingered in the Nothingness as if it was reaching out to every zone out there. When he was satisfied, the beast stood up and returned to the tall man.
"It will be here shortly," it said with a now rather hoarse voice.
