HE’S  NEVER  BEEN  ONE  TO  PARTAKE  IN  INANE  BANTER .        Her   pointed   manner   of   speech   has   never   been   lost   on   him .   Merely   the   fact   that   it   ALWAYS   FAILED   TO   PRICK   UNDER   HIS   SKIN .   Nothing   more   than   the   cool   ice   of   his   gaze   regards   her .   A   similar   look   that   he   has  given   her   in   the   past   (   COLD ,   DISTANT ,   STARING   RIGHT   THROUGH   HER   ) ,   scoffing    &    walking   briskly   past   her .
REGARDLESS ,  SHE’S  NOT  WRONG .        The   power   within   her   is   questionable .   ENTIRELY   MONSTROUS   TO   THE   CORE .   Still ,   that   could   be   saved   for   another   time   when   they    weren’t   focused   on   more   important   matters .   SOMETHING   HE   FELT   LIKE   HE   CONSTANTLY   HAD   TO   REMIND   HER .

      FOUR  QUICK  STEPS  CLOSED  THE  GAP,   before  pace  fell  to  match  his.  (  a  silent  refusal  to  allow  him  to  surpass,  despite  the  trivial  matter  ).   even  with  clasped  hands,  interlocked  behind  the  small  of  her  back,  casual  seeming,  she  was  anything  but  DISTRACTED  (  or  heaven-forbid—  CARELESS  ).   composure && focus  pulsed  in  as  much  her  veins  as  his.   however  nothing  of  interest  lay  in  their  surroundings,  thus  turning  her  attention  (  unfortunately  )  to  him. 

     UNFAZED  by  his  absent  gaze,  her  lips  remained  spread,  expression. . .  amicable  or  something  along  those  lines.   ❛   is  your  opinion  of  me  rooted  in  your  distaste  for  my  kind  or  your  INTERPRETATION  of  my  capabilities?   ❜   no  delusions  were  held  of  their  association.  it  was  not  friendship,  and  his  answer  would  effect  little  except  her  own  curiosity.

       ❛   A  FEW  PUNCTURE  WOUNDS, ❜   fingers  traced  along  her  torso,  abdomen to  chest,  ❛  bite  marks,  ❜  left  leg  extended,  hand  gesturing  in  the  general  area,  ❛  &&   a  scar  from  severing  my  arm.  kept  the  mark  after  reattachment  for. . .  memories’   sake.  ❜  none  were  visible,  all  hidden  by  cloth.
