The smile on her face only managed to upset the childish overlord. Laharl felt it odd not to be greeted with shrieks of terror, cries for mercy and such, given, he didn’t exactly make as dramatic as an entrance as he’d planned to, but to shirk it off the presence of the, self-proclaimed, Supreme Overlord of the universe in general was irritating to a degree he couldn’t express in words. Lips would tug downward to display vibrant distaste with her choice of responding to his malevolence. For some reason, kindness and indifference from any one of what could be assumed human origin felt like utter mockery. Spite and fear was what he longed for. A soft mental sigh at the notion…

He shifted from his crouching position to his feet and brought his arms to cross upon his physique. An unforgettable smirk holding it’s place on his features.

“I came here to pick a fight. Why else would I stop by this dump.” Rude and arrogant. As to be expected of any overlord or demon. Boredom was the very reason he’d been brought him to such a strong desire for violence. And unfortunately she’d become candidate number one. A new toy, a new chance to test, and prove his power. He’d had enough of the weak normal monsters which loitered the streets of his own netherworld. It was time to find new challenges from other dimensions.

A smirk came upon his features as he gave the other no time to react to the initial challenging of her strength. The scarf, which normally remained so stoic upon his neck, became restless in the nonexistent winds. Hands would come to place upon his hips as he tried to make himself look even more, self-proclaimed, greater than the other.

“So com’on, I’ve been ichin for a fight!”

The smile she once wore faded upon his offer, rosy lips briefly forming a small 'o' as eyebrows were raised in certain surprise. A fight? So that's what he was after, and she happened to be in sight to be a chosen opponent. A hand raises to her head, slim fingers combing through the red hair, the female regressing into a thoughtful stance.

...It has been quite some time since she's had participation in combat. Combat that did not include fighting off monsters and strange creatures among the different realms, but rather of one that was face-to-face with another. The days only piled on. Nonetheless, with the constant training undertaken in her home village, she was prepared to fulfill the demon's request. In a way, the redhead looked forward to this.

             "Alright."

Moving a hand now behind her, Revya carefully pulls out the infamous onyx blade from it's sheath; the cold metallic touch along her fingers nearly bringing back another curve of her lips, but it was repressed. This was serious now, memories can be--no, must be--kept at bay.

A swerve of her arm and the sword was brought up in front of her, firmly gripped at its handle. Her body soon moves into a defensive stature, muscles tensing as they await for the moment of an offensive attack, eyes focused on the other.

Ken had set up the tents while she sat there. He felt guilty about that wound she had in her side. It was an accident but Ken was in a blinding rage at the time. He knew that she tried to stop it but she still got hurt. He did snap out of it and helped her recover as best as he could.

"…"

He puts some fire wood not far from their tents and uses fire from his hands to make a camp fire. He looks over at her and walks to her when everything was set up. He picks her up slowly and carefully takes her to the campsite.

"So what do you want for dinner?"

"Oh, you don't have to--" A protest, but it was cut off as he lifts her off her seat. Really, it was unnecessary for she could walk her way there--albeit limping; she'll let this one slide for today. It was still appreciated, however.

"Anything is fine, I'm not too picky" she responds, now wondering if there was anything out here to eat. She wasn't too hungry, but it was best to stay in a well condition in order to heal.

Crimson optics flickered with a hint of excitement as they picked up on a sight that was vaguely familiar. Orange hair, dorky outfit, oh yes the protagonist from quite some time ago. “Hmhmhmhmmm" A, self-proclaimed, sinister snickering couldn’t be stomached at the sight.. How many years was it since he remembered attempting to give advice to this female. 4… maybe? 8? Bah, it didn’t matter. He could still remember his insignificant cameo in her game. That wasn’t even an clear thought he’d been able to speak, simply pity towards him to get two lines. How horrid of a role to be bestowed upon his magnificence. The horror provided by said memory was more than enough to breed aggression within his psyche.

A harsh grinding of his teeth in irritation would proceed, only furthering to allow the frustration of the memories display upon his person. “—Tsk." An audible clack of his tongue against his upper cavity provided noise to the silent air to alert her of his arrival. The sun shining above and the clear skies provided a subtle scenery for one whom was to evoke terror such as him. Mounting his crouched position one of the rocks scattered around, an arrogant smirk would crawl upon his face. "Yo butthole— mpfh—- long time no see.

Her feet immediately come to a stop as a shrill of a voice reached her ears, both familiarity and a tinge of annoyance welling up inside her. There was no one else that had that tone whenever they spoke, possible candidates to the owner easily narrowing down to one person. Long time no see, it was indeed.

Yet, Butthole--was that nickname truly necessary.

A turn of her head and the pint-sized overlord comes into view, a smile coming across Revya's lips. Sure, the way he called to her was vulgar and unneeded, but a known face was always welcomed.

"It has been awhile, hasn't it? Although, what brings you here?"

He lets out soft smile as she thanked him. He does his best to patch her up and decided to make camp where they are for now. After she would heal up more he would take her to town. “No problem. It’s my fault you got that one remember?”

The slight urge to get up and assist him rose as he began to set up camp, but the smallest of movement could easily open the wound again. Instead, pink-colored eyes watch from where she is seated, merely wishing to help. However, those optics widen when memory recalls that moment. That's right, he did injure her.

"...Oh no, not at all." She was sure it was just an accident. "It's alright."

Ken had been traveling with Reyva for a while now and he had grown accustom to her company. One day on their travels he had noticed that she had been walking strangly and notice was one of her old wounds. He tries to make her sit down and rest while he does his best to apply some medicine to it. "You okay? You shouldn't move around too much. If you do then the wound could be worse than when you first got it."

Avatar

Why was this happening now? That wound should have healed long ago and considering it's treatment, reopening was not expected. Revya lets out a soft groan as she moves a hand over to press on the injury, sitting down as Ken had asked. "I-I'm fine..." was her reply, but clearly, that wasn't the case.

She allows the other to tend the wound, trying to keep still as the medicine worked it's healing. The pain began to ease slowly, but it was a relief. A breath she didn't know she was holding, was released, followed by a quick "Thank you."

leaves 100,000,000 worth of money in your front door

"Please wait!" She calls out to the grey-faced individual, grabbing the wad of money from the door step and begins to take a few rushed steps in their direction, but before she knew it, they were gone. From a glance, Revya could already tell that this was an incredible amount of money. What was she to do with all of this in her hands? Wasting it was out of the question, it wasn't hers.

Perhaps Lady Virtuous could assist in this decision.

"Leeeet’s see. All my ‘friends’ are assholes. Grey faces keep fucking shit up, so I’ve been more animals than on Noah’s fucking Ark, I’ve been some magical witch-hunter, and as you can see, I’m stuck in some older body that people still don’t respect. And to top it all off, I’m apparently interested in men!” …Definitely not shrieking by that last part, nope. Definitely not.

"But, nevermind me and my problems. Where the heck have you been? Everything been going alright?”

That was most certainly a lot of bad news. "I see." He did appear different, had he not approached she might have mistaken him for someone else. Still, she couldn't help but admire his new look. It wasn't so bad as the rest or as so Gig claimed. "I'm sorry that you're still not respected, but you look fine Gig..in that body."

"As for me, I've been pretty busy. Lugged around back and forth, but otherwise alright. Thank you for asking."
