Gina Smola is a fiercely compassionate force for the animal welfare community. She does whatever it takes to find every animal that’s counting on its forever family. While Gina spends day and night doing all the hard work of saving lives, educating communities, and completing families she rarely spends any resources on herself. So, Gina’s tattoos create relaxing moments just for her. She chooses beautiful art pieces that remind her of various points of life. Now, Gina is not only a warrior for animals' lives, but she’s also a hero in our ride-or-die family. Somehow, while being there for everyone else Gina can drop everything and be there for us too. That is why we have the pleasure of nominating our best friend.
