The text comes as a welcome distraction from textbooks. Even if he likes his major now, that didn’t mean all the work and chapters assigned were necessarily interesting. Yosuke pulls his phone out of pocket, and reads it over as he leans back into the couch of his cramped apartment.
It’s a pleasant surprise to get a text from Amagi. He wasn’t sure if he’d ever hear from or not. Hardly a minute passes before, he texts her back.
[SMS][To: Amagi] jst cuz im drowning in hw, doesnt mean i want 2 do it rn. n yea i still wanna talk.
[SMS][To: Amagi] ill meet u there in 30?
He thankfully doesn’t live too far from campus. Enough time to get redressed for a bar and be there before 30 minutes is up. After getting a drink from the counter, he makes himself comfortable at one of the tables.
[SMS][To: Amagi]: middle table by the window
Clothes on as she saw her phone buzz in response, Yuki winced quickly at his texting style. “See that never changed.” A smirk given before grabbing her small bag of things and heading out to the bar.
As she got closer to it, her phone buzzed again. He was already there, a frustrated sigh came next only from wanting to have at least one drink in herself to calm her nerves of being around someone who she wasn’t the most fond of in the past. Though the thought of him being different was there too.
Opening the door to the bar, music invading her ears quickly as she eyes the crowded dance floor of college students. First things first, she went up to the bar and got herself something strong. Sipping it slowly, dark brown eyes connected to where Yosuke was sitting alone.
It only took a few strides to get to the table before sitting down across from him. Legs crossed and grateful that the table area was a little more closed off for people wanting to actually talk.
“So do you come here often?” A giggle comes next from Yukiko then, first drink already gone.
