Another nod followed his words as she followed. “It’s pretty…but deceiving.” She mused softly, looking up to the sky. When they reached the designated training ground, Sakura’s eyes roamed over the expanse, memorizing every tree, every rock, and every crack in the ground.

“I do have one more thing to ask of you.” The pinkette said and turned back to Itachi. “I know this is to help me fight or find ways around the Sharingan but please try not to over work it. And tell me if something is wrong.”

"..." Itachi looked seriously at her before answering. "Yes, don't worry about it. I guess my sight is going to get tired at some point. If that happens I will let you know." He smiled doubtfully.

His Sharingan was feeling quite well right now and an overuse could totally change that, but that doesn't mean he won't give his best at the training. "Shall we begin?" The Uchiha had no idea of where to start, though. This won't be so easy.

"Ahh its good to see you again Itachi. You still look good even after all these years." The snake man hummed as he strolled over to Sasuke’s side. He smirked towards Raidon. "Ahh, this is the last female Uchiha…Raidon was it? The Uchiha beauty even runs in the blood of a half-blooded Uchiha."

"I suggest you shut your fucking mouth or I will cut off your fucking head. Oh, I’m referring to both heads by the way." Raidon snarled, narrowing her eyes on him.

"Hoho, I guess what they say is true, the women in the clan are scarier than the men." Orochimaru returned, folding his arms.

Her head turned to Sasuke. “You better know what you’re doing Sasu.”

He nodded. “We’re going to revive the first four Hokages.”

"And you look exactly the same...but, what can I expect from a snake?" His voice sounded impressively monotone even when his words were kind of an offense for the other.

Itachi got closer to his cousin and put his hand on her shoulder as saying her to calm down. "Just stay silent if you have nothing good to say, Orochimaru." 

The elder Uchiha totally got surprised by his brother's words. First reviving the snake and then this, is he even sane? "Sasuke. I think you are precipitating too much. You don't know the consequences if this gets out of control. What are you even planning to do?" 

"Well, well, so that's why you brought me back to life, huh Sasuke-kun? I'm also interested to know what you wanna do." Orochimaru said.

It was a little weird being somewhere before the ever punctual Uchiha. But soon enough his voice announced his arrival and Sakura nodded. “As I’ll ever be.” Stepping outside, the pair was met with a nice breeze and a shining sun. Perfect weather for training in Sakura’s opinion.

"I am glad to hear that. Let's go to the place I mentioned before then." The man said as he began to walk through the path of leafs.

The field where Itachi planned to train is at the south of the hideout, a few meters away, he goes there once in awhile to improve his skills as well. "At least the day is in our favor with this nice weather. I hope it lasts a few days."

Sasuke looked back at his family as the snake man slipped from the mark on Anko. "I want answers...and he's the only one who can provide them now."

Raidon clenched her teeth as she looked upon the snake. This was the bastard who had stolen Sasuke from her. She clenched her fist tightly and her body tensed up.

"I don't care about that Sasuke. This bastard tempted you with power and stole you from me!." Raidon snarled angrily. Nayotake-no-Kaguya-hime appeared faintly above her and Itachi, staring menacingly down at Orochimaru.

Sasuke bit his lip and sighed. "I know how you both feel about him...but trust me, this is important."

There he was, repugnant as always and coming out in the most unexpected time. Itachi couldn't help to judge Orochimaru with his gaze and wait for his first move. 

"Hmm. This is not the best idea in my opinion, but if you think he can help, then just...be careful." The man's voice along with his expression were really serious. 

What kind of answers was he talking about? Sasuke seemed so sure of himself about this, and to resurrect the snake man to get some answers is not a simple thing. The situation was getting tense.

"But— they were all your family. They were your parents, your aunts, your uncles… You must be in so much pain."

The girl scooted closer to him then, hand raised in a sympathetic motion. She pressed her fingers to his shoulder and patted it lightly. 

"I’m, I’m sorry. Nobody should have to do that, even for the good of the Leaf… You are very strong." 

"It's even saddest to know the people you love were thinking of destroying the village that was their home, or at least it felt like it for me."

His lips formed a gentle smile as sign of gratitude even when he doesn't feel strong at all.

"I agree with you somehow. It's not necessary to reach these extremes. People say the Shinobi world has progressed, but there's still war and suffering. I hope we can reach peace someday, and only then, there won't be more cases like this one."

She returned his smile and nodded. “You’re welcome. Just don’t tell anyone else.” She joked. After finishing her own meal and cleaning the dishes, Sakura ran back to her room to change into her usual outfit and pack the things she needed.

When everything was ready to go, she made her way to the entrance  of the base.

He went to his room and changed into a plain black shirt with a pair of pants. Itachi took a small bag and put some weapons along with the things he would need for the training in it. As soon as the Uchiha felt ready to go, he walked to the entrance to see Sakura was already there.

 "Are you ready to go?" The man asked before opening the door for them.

Raidon could feel many chakra signatures starting to vanish as Itachi lifted the powerful jutsu. Madara Uchiha's chakra had vanished as well. She felt a sense of relief at this. All that was left was to fight Obito and the war would be done with. Raidon could sense how low Itachi's chakra was and helped support him up.

"I got you itoko..." Raidon smiled weakly at her older cousin.

Sasuke stared at Kabuto and then looked down at his feet. He felt...like something was missing, he felt lost. He wondered...why had Madara betrayed the village? Why was he using Obito to create a war? His eyes suddenly went to Anko, who laid on the floor unconscious. He walked over to her and decided to bring back Orochimaru.

He activated the jutsu and snake man began to emerge from Anko's curse mark. Raidon suddenly turned in panic. "Sa-sasu...! What are you doing?!"

Itachi was calming down and feeling better than before with the support of his cousin. "Thank you..." A rest was all he needed, but with the war, there's not time for that.  

Kabuto wasn't even moving and the elder Uchiha couldn't help to look at him curiously. The enemy was trapped within a loop and won't come out of it until he realizes his mistake. This genjutsu is helping him to be a better person somehow. 

Suddenly, Sasuke's actions caught the man's attention, what was he even thinking?. "Brother, why do you do this?" This was totally unexpected, and to see Orochimaru's figure is not so pleasant for Itachi.

The kunoichi couldn't help the pout that formed on her face at her nickname. She couldn't really complain though, it was better than 'brat' and 'bitch' curtsey or Sasori and Hidan respectively.

"Uh, well. We do kind of have to get changed." she said with a light laugh. Even though she was in her normal clothes, she preferred to wear clean clothes in case of a mission.

"Hmm, yes you are right. The Akatsuki cloak is not good to train at all, sometimes it can be really uncomfortable. We need to be in the best conditions, so I am going to get changed now..." He said that even when Itachi wasn't wearing the organization's cloak, but his current clothes are not so suitable either. 

He stood up and took the dirty dishes to the sink. "Thank you so much for the breakfast, Sakura." The Uchiha offered a wide and friendly smile to the woman. He really appreciated this. "See you at the entrance." With that said, the man left the room.

Sasuke quickly moved over to his elder brother once he put Izanami into motion onto Kabuto. He examined Itachi’s stomach and saw that the wound was completely gone. “Nii-Niisan Don’t worry about me, I’m just glad that you’re okay…”

Raidon was looking at Kabuto as he stood there, frozen. She could tell he was breathing and in his eyes…she could see in his eyes that his mind was racing. He was truly stuck in a loop. Raidon bit her lip then glanced over to Itachi. His left eye…it was white, it had gone completely blind.

Raidon walked over while Nayotake-no-Kaguya-hime floated over to the two male Uchiha. She touched Itachi’s face  gently. “You really can’t see anymore…”

Sasuke then looked to Kabuto then back to Itachi. “Lets end the Edo Tensei…once and for all.”

Itachi patted his brother's head gently. He is glad to know everybody is okay, this fight has gone better than expected for him, now was time to finally achieve another victory for the Shinobi Alliance. 

The elder Uchiha nodded at the woman's comment. Certainly his left eye has gone completely white and it can't see anymore. He took out a bandage from his bag and tied it around his head, covering the blind eye. "Yes. The price of using Izanami. But if this supports the Alliance then it's okay." Itachi nodded at Sasuke and went towards Kabuto. He put his hand over the enemy's head and he began to cancel the technique. Rat, Ox, Monkey, Tiger, Dragon, Boar. "Release!" With that said and if they did right, the Edo Tensei should be cancelled, but the black-haired man wasn't completely sure.

Raidon looked back in panic when she saw Itachi bleeding. She bit her lip and then called her Persona back. The Persona gave a cry in reply and then quickly scooped Sasuke into her arms. The Persona moved back towards her host.

"Niisan!" Sasuke cried out seeing his older brother bleed. The flames started to decrease and he started to cry tears of blood as the Persona set him down.

"Nayotake-no-Kaguya-hime! Mediarama!" Raidon screeched her command.

Nayotake-no-Kaguya-hime twirled around and the healing spell affected all three Uchiha. Sasuke felt his strength renewed and he looked to Itachi in panic. Had this spell of Raidon’s worked on him?

Itachi smiled widely at Sasuke to confirm everything was 'okay' even if it wasn't, because he was about to die and the bleeding was getting worse. But gladly, Raidon's spell helped enough, as he was feeling recovered.

The maximum dojutsu was finally ready and he immediately activated it. "Izanami!" With that said and his left eye turning blind, Kabuto has finally lost against the three Uchiha, at least until he realizes his mistake.

The elder Uchiha sighed in relief and turned to his brother and cousin, smiling at them. "Are you okay?" His abdomen was in excellent conditions thanks to the spell and Izanami. And Kabuto was finally inside the endless loop, living the same actions over and over. Now all they had to do was to find out the hand seals to stop the Edo Tensei directly from the enemy.

Kakashi vs. Itachi

Sakura took a deep breath and nodded, finally forced herself to look up at him. “I want this. I’m certain. We have no way of predicting the future so I would like to start as soon as possible.” She noted he hadn’t mentioned his eyesight so either it was a touchy subject or he didn’t feel the need to confirm that he was losing his sight.

To make things less awkward, she copied his movements and ate her breakfast. She was going to need all the protein and energy she could get for this training.

"Good then. As soon as possible is excellent for me. If you need to do something before the training, I will wait for you at the entrance." The Uchiha gave the last bite of his rice balls and the last sip of his tea. "I know a good place near here where we could train, girl."

It was really a good day for them to start the workout, Itachi was feeling quite good, and his sight was better than other days, and from what he could see at the window, there is a good weather, which is also favorable.

Nayotake-no-Kaguya-hime slashed at the snakes at Sasuke and then scooped her up into her arms. Sasuke looked up at the Persona and smiled weakly then she set him down onto the ground. Raidon looked to Kabuto and then the Persona attacked the snake man.

She blasted at the snake with a light spell and Raidon looked to Itachi quickly. Sasuke activated his Amaterasu on Kabuto, watching flames start to blaze around him.

"Brother! We can't kill him, remember?" Itachi exclaimed at the younger Uchiha, watching the flames going against the snake. "You can't kill me but I certainly will kill you all!" Kabuto yelled angrily, getting hurt by the black flames and his first reaction was to attack Sasuke with his biggest snake, the one that is part of his body, to make him 'pay' for what he did.

Itachi did not hesitate to immediately run to protect his younger brother from the huge attack, and he arrived just in time, the snake could possibly make contact with Kaguya-hime also. But in this case, the move got directly at the elder Uchiha's abdomen, making him bleed. This was the right moment, or else, Itachi will die. "Rai, it's ready. Get Sasuke and the woman away." He suggested at his cousin, just in case something could affect them.
