In just over two months it will be Inceptiversary season!

As always, we will have a full calendar of events running throughout the month of July, with some events starting a little sooner and some events running a little longer.

Today I had brunch with a friend and had a wander throughout the town and sat in the sun and took a harbour ferry and found free postcards and all in time to return home to relax with Betty White Kittyface.

It was a nice day.

Betty White Kittyface, a senior kitty who used to sleep through the night, or at least wander at night happily alone, has become a kitty who wants 4 am company.

Last night/this morning's technique was bonking my forehead with her forehead until I woke up, then yelling in my face.

Then, like a sucker, I scratched her little head when she nudged my hand.

I assume the means I will have created a pattern of behaviour that I will have to live with.

Today I ordered in dinner from a place that's me to me and it had AMAZING food and a tabbouleh that was actually mostly green and herby instead of the usual local version that it all grains with a bit of green garnish. It was bright and fresh and lemony and delightful.

Betty enjoyed the bag it all came in.

So we both had fun!

This morning was very Wimdy and Betty White Kittyface was very distressed.

This afternoon it's nice and she's so happy that's it's no longer scary weather times that she was able be VERY BRAVE and continue eating EVEN THOUGH A HORSE WALKED BY THE HOUSE!

The horse carriages are Betty's second greatest fear but NOT TODAY! LOOK AT THIS!!!

She did briefly give it a good stare:

But STILL! Above the furniture! In the face of the Monster! And then she went back to eating!

I've decided that Betty White Kittyface going out into the hallway of the apartment every night to just sit there must be her version of forest bathing.

Just soaking in the vibes of somewhere (slightly) different than home that offers a new perspective.

And just like forest bathing, it can be interrupted by unpredictable wildlife (neighbours opening doors) on occasion.

Which then prompts a quick retreat to the car (back into our place).

Just vibing.
