⚠️ I am interrupting this hiatus to make an announcement ⚠️

Me and my 2 team members are developing an isometric virtual chat world called Lunarstray were you can adopt a fox 🦊 and experience a pixelated environment, wear cute hats, level up and more!

no i don’t mind!! i’m kind of flattered you remember entity actuallywe made it for a game jam back in 2014 (frick i’m old), it’s outdated and doesn’t work properly in new browsers which is why i took it downhopefully i will be able to work on more games soon!!

The key to learning pixel art is learning from others I think! Find some pixel artists that you can get inspiration from and learn by doing!

How do you feel about the newer Kirby games moving towards 3D models and away from sprites? I know it was inevitable and unreasonable to expect them to use sprites forever, but I can’t help but feel like it just isn’t quite the same without them. For me, the colorful sprites and art style of the GBA/DS Kirby games are synonymous with Kirby as a whole; just as much as the music and gameplay...but I’m also biased because those were my first Kirby games. What are your thoughts?

to be honest i love the 3d aesthetic nintendo have going on with the new kirby games and triple deluxe was a blessing to my eyes… 3d is kinda weird in a side-scroller though so i get what you mean, and the good old gba/ds kirby graphics/music will always be my favorite, in any game, ever.. i think we like it so much because of nostalgia, but we have to learn to appreciate the new stuff as well, it is not that bad!!

also i don’t mind as long as nintendo bless us with virtual console releases 👏️👏️
