Zainspirowane tym postem (i komentarzami i tagami pod nim) o koncepcie na Polskie seriale lgbtq w stylu Tajlandzkich produkcji : D
I’ve been asked to translate so I’ll try my best! It’s a series of fake posters based on another Polish post in which people were chipping in ideas for lgbtq productions.
- “Babie Lato” is a pun that can mean “Women’s Summer”, but refers to a season in early autumn when it’s very warm. The girls here are wearing traditional folk clothes from Southern Poland
- “Loop” (as in Bus Loop)
- “Code for Kaiser rolls” it’s based on a Polish meme about a cashier who knows the code helping a cashier who doesn’t know it
- “Blooming Love”. Gardening is a common hobby especially for older people in Poland
- “About the Two Who Stole My Heart” title based on an old Polish novel (the novel isn’t related, I just like the title :P). The setting of this poster is in bar mleczny/cafeteria
- “The Other Side of the Field”. The boy in the foreground is holding a scarf of the football team Wisła Kraków, in the background you can see flags of Legia Warszawa.
- “Golden Ring”. The boys are wearing traditional folk costumes of the Highlands Podhale region. Drawing itself is based on Jan Rembowski’s paintings
- “Under Full Sails”, it’s a reference to lyrics of a popular Polish shanty. Also sailing (on the lakes) is a common hobby in Poland, and these girls are attending a summer sailing camp.
