Dick Grayson in All Star Batman #009
If I could begin to be, Half of what you think of me, I could do about anything, I could even learn how to love.
Okay but
Imagine Dick still loosing his baby teeth as Robin and smiling like a goof with half of his teeth missing.

“Right!” She had a million questions burning and she wanted so badly to just spew them out. “How’d you learn how to do all those flips and stuff?” She blurted out, eyes shining brightly.
He got the feeling he was gonna be here for a while, so he sat down in front of her, crossing his legs. “My parents taught me when I was small. Batman helped me learn more things, though.”
Aaron shook his head, worry creasing his brow before he shook it off and straightened up with another grin. “Hey, maybe it’s about this.”
He puffed out his chest in a paltry imitation of Bruce Wayne, hands folding across his chest. “Ro-ichard, how dare you spend time with a kid at the top of his class! You might actually learn something!”
And then he let the facade fall, returning to worry, but with a more relaxed mien. ”If he didn’t want us hanging out, I’d already be taken care of.“ Meaning left up to interpretation.
Dick chuckled at the other’s impersonation of Bruce, but he could top it. He mimicked the others action of puffing out his chest, but pointed his index finger at Aaron instead. “How dare you be spending time with another boy!? Why do you need more friends?? You have me and Alfred, isn’t that enough!?” He laughed it off.
Crossing his arms over his chest, he hummed thoughtfully. “He can’t stop me from hanging out with you, you’re my friend.” Dick said, but he knew that wasn’t 100% true. He knew he’d probably listen to Bruce, but... he liked Aaron. He wanted to stay his friend.
“I’m great!” She said, grinning brightly at the infamous Boy Wonder. He was so polite too! She didn’t know he’d be polite! “You’re kinda shorter than I thought you’d be.” She confessed, of course he was still a bit taller than her but she had expected him to be even taller.
Ouch. A hit at his height. Well, he’d heard worse from MEANER people -- and more often. Plus, she was just a kid who admired him! He laughed it off easily. “Hey, I’m just a kid, like you.” Robin said in a chuckle, shaking his head slightly. “I’m not done growing yet!”

“Deep breaths kid. I ain’t that special.” Time to grin and rub at the back of his silver head with a gloved hand. Jeez, kid sure was eager.
“What?! No way! You’re plenty special!” Exclaimed the younger in excitement, his fists balled up at his sides and a smile coming to his face. “I keep track of the whole JL and JLI. You guys are the coolest!”
The youth should have known better than to try and sneak past him.
“Mind sharing?”
He sighed through his nose, reminding himself that partnership was about trust -- no secrets allowed.
“I was listening in on the comm. link we have established at Arkham, and it sounded like Riddler had a pretty bad breakdown tonight. Just wanted to check in and see if everything was alright.”

because sometimes what’s left to the imagination is much more terrifying.
“Are you feeling alright? You don’t look it.” “I just heard something… Something bad…” “Why didn’t you tell me about this?!” “What’s all this blood?!” “Will you tell me what the fuck is going on?” “Don’t give me that look! It wasn’t my fault!” “You should probably sit down for this.” “Please tell me you forgive me!” “I can’t live without you!” “Oh god, It was a mistake coming here… I’m sure of it.” “What the hell happened to you?!” “Where have you been?! I’ve been waiting for hours!” “You promised you wouldn’t do this anymore!” “I knew not to trust you!” “What’s that in your bag…? Is that–? Tell me it’s not!” “Is this what a dislocated shoulder feels like?!” “How could you do this to me?!” “Wake up! Wake up!!! You’re having a nightmare!” “I feel weird… what was in that drink…?” “I don’t want to leave you, but you’re not really giving me another option.” “Please… you’re scaring me…” “Ssh, I heard something again. How aren’t you hearing it? It was loud… and getting closer.” “Are you okay in there? You’ve been so quiet.” “I came as soon as I could! Did he/she get to you already?” “I don’t know whether I want to do this. I don’t know whether I CAN do this.” “Do you remember anything?” “You have to tell me who did this to you!” “No, no, I’m not alright. I’m definitely not alright.” “What’s your fucking problem?!” “Are you crying?” “You’re freaking me out! Please calm down!” “I’m leaving. And I’m not intending to come back.” “You… are dying?” “Did you drink the whole bottle while tripping? Seriously?” “Do you have a deathwish or something? Jesus!” “Ever been held at gunpoint? Want to know what it feels like?” “Stop screaming! Shh, calm down! You have to keep quiet!” “When’s the last time you slept?”.

❝ Hey, you must Dick Grayson. Bruce Wayne’s protégé, right? My name is Barry Allen. I’m with the Central City Police De- partment, and I’m with CSI. ❞
Barry introduced himself again. He couldn’t just go around letting people know that they knew each other. But even so, he never saw the boy out of his costume. So, in a way, he was meeting him for the first time. Dick was a lot smaller than before though. Probably was his bo- ots that gave him some extra height.
Dick smiled. Of course he recognized Barry Allen. He knew everyone in the Justice League -- after all, he was a big fan of each of them. Dick offered him his hand politely.
“A pleasure, Mr. Allen. I admire your work very much.”
The look on his face was clear as day. He recognized the other as the Flash, plain and simple.
