To celebrate World Theatre Day and the recent Spy x Family news (S2 premiere date and Code: White), here are some more production photos I've found online for Musical Spy x Family!

I love it so much when two of my interests/fandoms cross over!

Also, I feel so spoiled by the number of production photos that have been released. Like, for most Broadway or West End productions, as well as national tours and regional productions, which is what I'm most familiar with, you'll get a handful of official shots. I would consider 15 lucky and 20 as extremely rare (that is excluding new photos for cast changes).

And Musical Spy x Family, here, goes above and beyond with 30 photos compiled for this post alone (yes, the max I could include). It's crazy that this doesn't even take into count the photos from my previous posts along with other shots that I've come across but have yet to include.

I wish more people understood that aroace side characters aren’t enough. We need main characters. I love the representation, truly I do, but it hurts to only have representation in shows that are… all about romance and sex. As a borderline romance repulsed person it’s frustrating when I can’t even watch the people like me because the shows/movies they’re in are centered around the things I don’t want to watch! I just want at least one show with no romance at all, aroace mc, idc about the side characters I just want a show that’s not focused on romance with a side character who isn’t even watched by half of their community because of the subject of the show… like idk about y’all but I am NOT sitting through hours of pining and kissing just to see one character say “I’m aroace” and leave. Idk, I just wish I could see myself on screen in a way that wasn’t incredibly uncomfortable to watch. I always feel so selfish saying this though because I feel like I should just take what we have and deal with it because at least it’s something! Idk, I just want more.

Really hoping Bard makes it out alive, people have pointed out it seems him and Lau could have the same blood type. And with Ronald Knox not making any major contributions to the plot yet, it made me wonder…

What if the presence of Ronald isn’t to foreshadow Bard’s death, but rather his change of death record?

Many, many chapters months years ago (ch125 from 2019 omg), Grell and Othello made an appearance and explained that the music hall blood collection was making a number of people who were supposed to die end up living longer.

Due to the time period and its human medical knowledge of the time, obviously this prompts their Shinigami investigation.

The Sanatorium was obviously going to be a hot spot for a Shinigami to appear, since patients there are obviously living past their death day with all the medical advancements there. But when it comes to Bard, and the many suspicious panels with Ronald…

…it may be that Bard will also, rather than just die like this, live longer than fate may have previously written for him.
