I may have been somewhat inspired by a WIP mod by @monocodoll for this release (well, at least in name). Go check it out!
In the spirit of giving this game more basics, I decided to make a Baja Jacket, colloquially known as a "drug rug". There's one for both frames, and it should have the typical morphs.
INFORMATION:
This download has five recolorable presets, which you can look at under the cut. Each pattern is fully recolorable, and if you want to get really fancy with it I'm sure you could add patterns inside the patterns. It is recolorable by pattern rather than by region. The upside to doing it this way, in my opinion, is that it adds dimension to the item where it would otherwise get washed out. I'm working on a re-make of my flannel with this exact method in mind in the future btw :)
Also one warning: while the size morphs work fine, the strings might get a bit swallowed up if you have the breast slider to the maximum. Set to the minimum it looks fine.

My best friend inviting me to her place to check out this cool new game she got, where we could build dreamhouses and set people on fire.
In my classmate's house where we did a school project we played The Sims during breaks, in her game she threw a party with cake strippers. As a budding teen I wouldn't understand the need of cake strippers in a party then but the guests were having fun so...
*sims 1* My older brother: lol you can make them go to the bathroom and give them pizza and redecorate their house, what a stupid game, looks nothing like sims city. I'm just gonna delete it. Me: *eyes wide* CAN I PLAY IT PLEASE?? Also me a month later on 7Deadlysims: *download*
One of my best friends had been to a car show, and entered some of the 'grab bag' raffles they had going there. He'd put tickets into all the raffles with video games. No one else had. So he won all the games and came to visit me the next day, offering me my choice of the games he wasn't super keen on.
Among them were the Sims3 basegame, University, and Pets. Also a console version of the Sims 3 for, I think... the DS? I remembered vaguely having heard of some sims game where you could shut people inside houses and then set things on fire and kill them all, so asked him for those games so I could try them out. I was addicted within a week.
My middle brother convincing my eldest brother and I to go in 3-ways on a game to give to my mom as a present. For reason no one can fathom, he chose The Sims 1 (there were other games she would have liked better than this...). Also unbeknownst to my eldest brother and I, middle brother was cashing in on a BOGO sale... He pocketed the free game for himself.
My mom, on receiving the game, nodding and smiling and thanking my brothers and giving me a side eye communication of ‘WTH?’ as mothers do.
They meant well... (I mean except for the blatant self interest of my middle brother) but still... clueless.
She later gave me the game. I don’t know that anyone ever told my brothers... And yeah...someone else mentioned 7DeadlySims... download frenzy ensued...
(I should mention, middle brother took our money and bought the games w/out mentioning what he bought. We didn't know until we gave the gift.)
It’s really sad when creators delete their websites/tumblrs etc. I’d like to send a shout out to all the archivists out there that take the time/effort to gather all the lost goods and make them available.
I haven’t been around in a while I know… and this isn’t a sim-related post. But then my tumblr was never a purely simblr anyway. Just mostly one and random other things I do…. I think Mardi Gras is this week, so I figured to make some New Orleans inspired food. Unlikely to be even remotely authentic but it was tasty.
Had another “friend” ghost me because that seems to be the caliber of people I attract.. I don’t make real life friends easily and I’m really down. shame is that they were the only vaguely foodie person I know. At least I always have Mr. Skellington.
Maybe I will surface again and maybe it will be sims again. I did at least stare at Blender for a solid 5 minutes before moping off… (those damned staffs…. )
I really wish I would learn to leave myself notes on projects, given how long I leave them in the UFO pile... Sometimes they end up staying unfinished because I can’t figure out where I left off on them or what I was planning to do...
So apparently windoze zip can no longer extract zip files made using 7Zip... (I don’t mean the 7z format, I mean actual .zip). So now all my downloads are broken. I’ll have to post new zips everywhere... sorry. Try to get to it this weekend.
ps yeah I’m still alive.. just wandered off for a bit...

I can’t settle on a skin for him. I generally don’t want uber-pale skins (as seems to be the fashion) except for now I do.. go figure. And I’m left wanting something coarser than 99% of the skins out there, but softer than Nika V’s Adam… I *think* this is Candy Crush/Marshmallow by I Like Teh Sims.
Anyway.. I think he is officially “different” then the rest of my stable. and yet… similar…

Celebrity Look-Alike : Audrey Hepburn
Another WIP from the way, way back! I started this sim-alike back in early 2015 and had a fair start at her. Unfortunately she suffered from "over-workshopping" and I abandoned the project to the bottom of my WIP pile. I was inspired to dust of the project and actually finish her. Thankfully I found a really early version of her that was salvageable!

Latest project... Actually another semi-redemption. I worked on this sim in early 2015 when I created her pose sets (Funny Face and Audrey). I had a fairly good start at her, but she suffered from “over workshopping" resulting in a beautiful sim that really didn’t resemble Audrey Hepburn, even though the people providing feedback insisted she did (she did not. not at all.) Luckily I found a very early version that wasn’t overwrought and this is her current incarnation.
Does anyone know of a current link for YSStudios’ “Upperlip ThinLower Complete” slider? The last link I had was a re-upload done by TheBleedingWoodland, but that link seems to have been deleted.

In the way, way back, when I first started making celebrity sim-alikes, I made a not-too-dreadful but also not-particularly-good version of Zachary Quinto that I uploaded to the officials (cringe!) I consider this a "redemption" project.
