Wow, just WOW! I’ve been out of the artistic loop for so long that I didn’t know if people remembered that I draw.

I wasn’t sure I would get any bids, or even help raise much money, but I am over the moon with the outcome!

October 27, 2023 seeing Queen in St. Paul with my now 30 year old, pregnant daughter. She wanted to hold up a sign for Brian to read during the show. I managed to get video of him as he saw it, read it, and then he smiled!

I’ve been quiet on here. I mostly just lurk and scroll these days. But I’m learning how to art and I’m really kind of proud of this pet I drew for my first-ever commission.

Her name is Willow and she’s a Christmas present. Here’s the pic I worked from:

I know I’m still learning but it’s funny, I grew up with a mother who was an artist. Her mediums were oils, chalk and watercolor. I never could draw with any of that stuff though she had me try a lot. Turns out, my tech-loving self CAN work with digital art, or at least I’m learning to. I think she would have been pleased I found something I can art with :)
