im really saddened to hear about naya. glee was such a big part of my life and so was naya so this is awful to hear. my thoughts are with her friends and family during all this.

IN MEMORY OF NAYA RIVERA

Naya Rivera was a mom, a sister, a daughter. She was an actress, a singer, a writer, a model. She was a latina woman who went through a lot in this life. She was always vocal and open about important issues such as homophobia, racism, toxic relationships, sexism, motherhood, abortion. Her character in Glee was probably one of the most influential and important representations for the LGBTQ+ community and she always talked about how Santana was important for young LGBT people and how proud she was for being able to represent something good. If Santana ever helped you, Naya was so proud of that and of you. She changed lives.

Thank you, Naya. You’ll be remembered and missed.

A wonderful person and a talented actress has gone from us. I can't say how much that hurts me. She was not only an actress, but also a daughter, a sister and above all a mother. I'm so sorry for her family and I'm so sorry for all people who loved her, who admired her. I loved her not only her role as Santana Lopez but also her as a person.

Beautiful, talented, soulful and genuine are all words that could describe this woman.

I don’t care what someone says about me not knowing her. Her performance as Santana Lopez touched my heart. Her voice touched my soul and her laughter made me smile. Not just as Santana Lopez.

Naya’s commitment and love for her fans was astounding. She pushed for the Brittana story line. She advocated for us when so few were.

Sadness, sorrow and heartbreak don’t even cover it.
