"Is that a sonic screwdriver in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?"

"Am I?---                    What."

His eyebrows crease, a bit incredulous at her-- question. However he does give a cursory glance .

"Wait, no that's-- oh, it's just a banana.Fruity potassium goodness."

Color him relieved.

He’s like fire and ice and rage. He’s like the night, and the storm in the heart of the sun. He’s ancient and forever. He burns at the center of time and he can see the turn of the universe. And… he’s wonderful.

Something I just thought about, is that when roleplaying the doctor, usually it's good to keep in mind all the other men he's been.(you know what I mean) Especially if you're attuned to a specific regeneration.

But after he regenerates, his mindset is different. And he views all of those instances in a different light. It's kind of like he re-tells himself what happened. The details don't change, but maybe his opinion/attitude does? Kind of like with food. And how he's finicky with certain things after regeneration.

Just because i'm watching Smith and Jones and he talks about getting rope burn from Benjamin Franklin's kite. And he's kind of light hearted about it. But I imagine another regeneration(even though i'm pretty sure that was during his tenth regeneration), say his first, would sound more bitter about it. Or the Eleventh more nostalgic, or instead choosing to focus on the discovery that was made that day when talking about it.
