red smiled “ok sounds good beautiful.” Red looked back to Amari.“So what games do you want to play with daddy Amari?”

“Hide seek! Hide seek!”, was the response from the energetic toddler.

"Hehe ok, but only in this room ok" red put Amari

Red laughed a bit and kissed kimmys cheek.“ I’m a bit hungry beautiful and you make what ever you want.” Smiling at her.

“Alright, it’ll be a surprise then!”, she replied enthusiastically. “I leave you two alone and call you when the food is ready.”

red smiled "ok sounds good beautiful." Red looked back to Amari."So what games do you want to play with daddy Amari?"

Amari’s stomach growled, disrupting the moment the three of them were having.  “Uh oh!”

A giggle escaped Kimmy’s lips. “Well, it sounds like someone’s hungry. What about you Sweetie? Are you hungry? I will make you whatever you want to eat if you are.”

Red laughed a bit and kissed kimmys cheek." I'm a bit hungry beautiful and you make what ever you want." Smiling at her.

Red laughed a bit and look over at kimmy.“ It’s so good to be home beautiful.”

Kimmy wrapped an arm around her husband’s waist as she pressed a kiss to his cheek. “It’s good to have you home. Our little family is back together again.” She rested her head on his shoulder. “You have no idea how happy I am.”

Their toddler looked at her mother and decided to mimic her movements, after all, if her mother was doing something then Amari should do it too, right? With that thought process in mind, the little girl kissed Red on the cheek and rested her head on her father’s shoulder, mirroring her mother. 

Red smiled and kissed kimmy back on the forehead. Red then looked over at Amari and gave her a light kiss on the forehead." I know beautiful. I'm happy to be home with with both of you."

Red smiled and got back up.“ You make sure to keep it in your head ok amari.”

Wanting to look like her father, Amari attempted to place the hat on her head but due to her lack of coordination, was struggling to do so. “Mommy! Help!”, she yelled, holding the hat out towards her mother.

Kimmy approached her daughter. “What is it Amari? Do you want to wear daddy’s hat?” Amari nodded and handed the hat to over to Kimmy. “Hat on! Hat on!” 

Taking the hat from Amari, she placed it on her daughter’s head. The hat was too big on her though and ended up covering Amari’s eyes, causing the toddler to start laughing.

Red laughed a bit and look over at kimmy." It's so good to be home beautiful."

Red smiled and laughed as big as he bent down with amari so she could pick it up.

Amari reached out when Red got her close enough to the hat and grabbed it, holding it in her tiny hands. “Hat! Yay!”

Red smiled and got back up." You make sure to keep it in your head ok amari."

Red laughed a bit.“ Do you like daddy’s hat?”

“Hat! Hat hat hat!”, she replied cheerfully. Amari continued to wave the hat around until she loss her grip on it and dropped it onto the floor. She leaned over and pointed at the hat. “Uh oh.”

Red smiled and laughed as big as he bent down with amari so she could pick it up.

Red noticed what amari and moved his head so she can take it off.

Amari removed the hat from his head and began waving it around, laughing as she did so.

Red laughed a bit." Do you like daddy's hat?"

Red smiled and picked her up.“ You gotten big sense I been gone hu amari.” Read smiling at amari.

Amari reached for her father’s hat, wanting to take it off his head.

Red noticed what amari and moved his head so she can take it off.

“Yes Amari its your dada.” Red smiled at Amari.

The toddler looked amazed.for a moment before squealing happily and clapping her hands together.

Red smiled and picked her up." You gotten big sense I been gone hu amari." Read smiling at amari.

Red walks in.“ Hey daddy’s home.”

The toddler looked up from her toys at the sound of somebody entering her room. 

Kimmy stood in the doorway. “Amari, do you remember your dada? From the pictures and the videos?” Kimmy had shown Amari videos and pictures of Red everyday since he’s been gone, hoping that their daughter would be able to recognize him when he came home.

“Dada?” Yes, Amari remembered that. Looking at the man in the room, the toddler was fortunately able to notice the similarities between the man her mother showed her in pictures and on the t.v, to the one standing before her. Pointing over at Red, she inquired. “Dada?”

"Yes Amari its your dada." Red smiled at Amari.

Red kissed kimmys cheek" yes you are right there is our daughter.“ Red smiled and went up stairs.“where’s my little girl.”

Kimmy followed Red up the stairs, wanting to see the reunion. “She should be in her room, playing with her toys.”

Red walks in." Hey daddy's home."

Red rubbed her back.“ I will not leave you alone beautiful I promise.”

She continued to hug her husband until her sobs finally stopped. It was then that she finally pulled out of the embrace and wiped away the tears with the back of her hand. “A-As much as I would love to keep you all to myself right now, there is a little girl upstairs that you need to see, right?”

Red kissed kimmys cheek" yes you are right there is our daughter." Red smiled and went up stairs."where's my little girl."
