Heya. I decided to make a quick demo reel so people can hear my voice if they want. It’s completely unedited aside from noise reduction. Since I’m an amateur and this is my first ever demo, I’d love some feedback!

i love that charles dickens got paid by the word. like i cant even be mad when he’s boring and long-winded bc i would do xactly the same??? i wouldnt use contractions or colours at all. want to say the word red? too bad. we r now only using “the colour of freshly-spilled blood on snow; the hue of the horizon when the sun sets over the deserts of sub-saharan Africa” BOOM guess who can afford 2 eat now: me and my boi dickens
What I love about Alexandre Dumas, in contrast, is he got paid by the line. So it’s not really wordy, it more like 80% dialogue which makes it sound pretty modern but also ends up like-
“Where are we going now?”
“We are going to the city.”
“Which city?”
“Paris.”
“We are going to Paris?”
“Yes.”

Good news everybody! Voice acting auditions are open for the two main characters Armin and Jean for Passing Happiness! As of now, three people are interested in voicing Armin. Jean’s still wide open for the taking!
If you plan on auditioning for more than one role, please send separate emails.

Hello! I’m announcing a new audio play in the works called Passing Happiness! It’s an Attack on Titan play that is very shippy.
Armin’s been a wedding planner for years. He’s ‘passed along’ happiness to countless couples by now, and yet… He’s hopelessly in love with his best friend, Eren, who does not return his feelings (or even know about them.) When Eren announces his engagement to his longtime boyfriend, Levi, Armin realizes it’s time to prioritize his own happiness… after he plans the wedding, of course. But things don’t always go as planned when he meets Jean Kirschtein during the wedding chaos.
It features many ships, particularly Jean/Armin, Levi/Eren, Ymir/Christa, and many more.
Currently, I have only a handful of people interested in participating. Are you one of them?

I’m going to start off with apologizing for my inactivity lately. I promise I have my reasons, and here’s what this post is really about: Passing Happiness. It’s an audioplay that I’m thinking of starting. To make an audioplay takes a lot of work and time. It also takes more than just me. I’ll need a lot of help. There are plenty of positions open! For example, there are numerous characters that need voices. I’ll need editors and co-script writers, artists, and other producers. Right now, I’m currently sending this PSA out as a test for interest. If it gets a good enough reception, I’ll see about making it a reality. Please reblog this as much as you can to get the word out. If you are interested, then please message me through asks. I’d prefer to know your URL, but if you’re shy, feel free to send an anonymous ask just saying you’re thinking about it! This is just a little test. So there’s a Japanese slang term, ‘chuunibyou’, that roughly translates to “Middle School 2nd Year Syndrome.” It is used to describe the stupid phases people go through when they are 14, like pretend to be really hardcore, act like they know everything, say they have mystical powers, etc.
I’m so happy this term exists.

If, after you are finished questioning and experimenting with gender/sexuality, you figure out that you are straight and/or cisgender, that is completely okay. Your time spent figuring yourself out was not wasted or in vain, and you weren’t “faking it” the whole time. You’re just as valid as anyone else.
