A Mom went to have dinner with her son who lives with his roommate. During the course of the meal, his mother couldn’t help but notice how handsome his roommate was. She had been suspicious about her sons sexuality but being a good mother she felt that he would let her know if and when the time was right but seeing the two together just made her more curious. Over the course of the evening, while watching the interaction between the two she wondered even more if there was more here than meets the eye. Her son, sensing his mothers watchfully eye volunteered, “really Mom, I can tell what you’re thinking and you can just get it out of your mind, we are just roommates and nothing more”. About a week later the roommate remarked, “ever since your mother was here the silver serving platter has been missing, do you think she took it?” He responded, “Well I’m sure she didn’t but I will email her and ask just to be sure” he sat down and wrote: Hey Mom I’m not saying you did take the silver platter from the house and I am not saying you didn’t take it but the fact remains that it has been missing ever since you were here for dinner. Love, Your Son. A couple days later he got a response from his mother: Dear Son, I am not saying that you do sleep with your roommate and I am not saying that you don’t sleep with him and you know I love you and could care less either way but the fact remains that if he was sleeping in his own bed he would have found the platter under his pillow. When are the two of you coming for dinner? Love, Mom

Rat Torture

Described as both “rat torture” and “rat excitation,” these techniques employ rats to conveniently exploit the common human phobia toward rodents. The inquisitor out to get a confession places a few rats in a bucket, blocks the vermin’s escape with the victim’s stomach, then heats up the exposed end of the bucket to annoy the rats. Whatever method is used, the end result is always the same: Hungry rats, excited by fire, only have one escape path: they must burrow through the poor victim’s flesh.

Orlando Bloom is a gift to mankind

I’ve reached my follower goal this week and finally managed to get my blog running properly. I’ve decided to host a YA book giveaway for my wonderful followers.

Hi guys! I’ve only been talking about been talking about this giveaway forever but after weeks of thinking and planning, here you have it! It’s my very first one and meant to show appreciation to my followers—so please bear with me.

Since Halloween is coming up and it’s my favourite holiday, I decided that I wanted to do a themed giveaway: horror. I tried to mix in as much variety as possible with the help of my boyfriend, who has read almost all of these books, Goodreads, and some friends, so the prizes aren’t just horror, but also mysteries, thrillers, sci-fi, and more. And I know there are several authors with multiple books on here—it’s for a very good reason, I swear.

R U L E S:

  1. You must be following me. This is to show appreciation for my followers so I will be checking.
  2. The Giveaway is open internationally. Prizes will be sent through Book Depository. (A list of eligible countries can be found here.)
  3. Both likes and reblogs count. You may reblog more than once, but please don’t spam your followers.

  5. The winner may choose one (1) of the books listed below in either hardback or paperback. I’m negotiable on audiobooks, too.
