Princesses Peach an Daisy at SacAnime Summer 2016.

One of my new cosplays, worn at Fanime 2016. I've always wanted to cosplay Samus, since we're mole buddies (we have the same chin mole) and she's badass and tall, and I'm tall and want to someday be badass. The entire thing was made out of 2mm and 1/2in foam, papier-mâché, cardboard found in my apartment complex's dumpster, and soda bottles. It cost me like $60, but I had a lot of supplies lying around, which probably saved me some cash. It was my first full suit of armor, and while it had its rough patches, it won best in novice craftsmanship at the Fanime cosplay contest!

I did makeup for a play, and had a lot of down time during the show, so I did a different makeup each run! They vary from straight out glam to fairy drag queen to nature's cutesy hitman!

Hey look, I made a belt thingy

Went to Wizard World San Jose for the day as Hipsted! Poison Ivy. While the con wasn't as huge as Fanime, and Sunday was pretty dead, I had a lot of fun and bought some pretty cool stuff. It was fun going to a con and wearing a smaller cosplay, I actually got to do stuff while still being able to enjoy being in cosplay!

Makin' some armor. Its a bad pic, and armor hasn't been painted, and I still have a lot left, but its a start, and I've never done armor before, so yay! Craft foam armor!
