Testing out an IK thing for bosses with arms that punch or grab you.
More magic. Antigravity and airboost. Poor piloting.
More work on decorations for spells and making it possible to actually tell what’s going on.
Wands and spell switching.
I shifted things around so grappling hooks and antigravity now work as passive spell effects, so you can do things like shoot monsters while grappled / ignoring gravity.
This combined with a little air boost spell I added means you can now fly freely, even without your broom (although not terribly well.)
Testing out star imposters on enemies and the broom
super fancy face technology
All textures and shaders, no geometry.

“Spaceman Sparkles 3D is a frantic and groovy action shooter that takes place in a thumpin’ disco universe” - Author’s description
Author’s note: “This is a short and probably kinda hard game, spinning around tiny planets might make you a bit nauseated. I do think that it’s pretty exciting though and I hope you’ll have fun with it.”
There’s actually health already, although the interface for it is terrible. Currently when you die you just respawn at the last (invisible) checkpoint, quests will probably persist but progress on bosses and things like that does not.
I might just make it so that you’ve got some sort of magic that lets you be in otherworlds and being hit enough kicks you out for you to try again.
Since Unity 5 all of that image effect and shadow stuff is fully available in the free version, which is convenient and nice. Most of the pro things now are more team oriented things. Dark theme would be nice though.
Holding onto your back in panic
Playthrough of the DD7 build with a bunch of messing around at the end. Pretty long.
Fixing up the dialog system for use with MOUSE CONTROLS, almost ready for demo
particles for orientation and wooshing through lattices
Been working on menus and a tutorial, demo in like a week.
Combined my infinite ocean shader with the standard procedural sky for something that I think looks pretty okay, obvious ocean tiling notwithstanding.
