If you listen hard enough you can hear the click clack of thousands of laptop keys as Sterek fic writers draft their fix-it fics and mutter to themselves, “I cannot believe I am still cleaning up this man’s messes…”

You were the boy, weren’t you? The servant boy who got us out. You saved her life and mine, then you restored her to me. Yet you want no reward.
Not anymore.

Deck the Halls (I’ll Burn it to the Ground)

I accidentally wrote an akuroku Christmas fic last January and promptly forgot about it. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays beautiful humans, I hope all your wishes come true.  --- Once upon a time, Roxas Strife and Axel Flynn were best friends. Back in the day, back when things like what grade you were in and who you hung out with didn’t matter, back when the only qualifying factor was neighborhood proximity and skill with a bat. Well, and back when Roxas didn’t have a debilitating, soul-crushing, fool-making crush on his best friend. Former best friend. Which he was over, of course. Thirteen-year-old Roxas had walked around with stars in his eyes and his heart in his throat every time he so much as looked at Axel, sure, and it made things awkward for a minute, yes. But that was a long time ago. In the real world, where a high school freshman was too fucking cool to hang out with a dumb middle-schooler, Roxas and Axel fell apart. Slowly, at first, and then entirely. And it would’ve been fine – Axel made new friends, joined the band, Roxas made new friends, joined the Struggle team – it should’ve been fine. They should’ve fallen off each other’s radar, nothing more than a small blip on the rare occasion their eyes caught in the hallway, maybe a mutual head nod when they crossed paths on their street. Childhood friendships faded into obscurity all the time – it should’ve been fine. It wasn’t fine. Roxas…well, Roxas was bitter. Roxas was bitter, and stubborn, and he knew that his ability to hold a grudge wasn’t exactly one of his better personality traits. And Axel – well, maybe Axel was bitter too. Maybe Axel was bitter too, or maybe he just wanted to be absolutely sure that Roxas never quite forgot about him, because neither of them ever managed to settle for being passing ships in the hallway. No, their childhood friendship had to fade into a low-grade animosity – never outright aggressive, never anything downright mean…they just, they never just crossed paths. No, there always had to be a snide comment, a snarky one-liner, a raised eyebrow and a smirk and a sneer. Axel standing shoulder to shoulder with his new best friend, his upgrade, Roxas being dragged away by his long-suffering, eye-rolling twin brother. Every few months, maybe once a semester, it would come to a head. Axel would poke and prod and just generally be a pain in the ass, and it would build up and up and up until Roxas thought he was going to explode from it. From irritation and frustration and confusion, because at the end of it all he never quite understood why. Maybe the why didn’t matter. Maybe the why was just to rile Roxas up, to get a rise out of him, to see how close Roxas would come to lunging fist-first at Axel and doing his best to beat the ever-loving shit out him. Maybe it was because Axel had figured out, despite Roxas’ best efforts, about Roxas’ once upon a time massive fucking crush, and this was his form of payback. Axel hadn’t ever struck Roxas as particularly homophobic, sure, but there was a big fucking difference between having a gay best friend and having a gay best friend with a devastatingly obvious crush on you. Maybe it was payback, and punishment, and just plain spite. But this…this was a new low. This was a brand new form of punishment, something even Axel hadn’t sunk to before.

ICYMI I tripped and fell back into fanfiction ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

now feels like an appropriate time to remind people that I wrote a sad sappy college AU that is mildly depressing but promises Stan and Richie as best friends, a happy ending, and ABSOLUTELY NOBODY DYING.

briefly reappearing from the dead to remind you all that my favorite “I have a lot of feelings about Soriku” song is a song about loving Jesus.

Hi so another quick anon question about kh. I clicked the SoRiku tag and saw a story you shared that you seemed to really like. It was called "If for one night (we can sleep alright)" but the writer has removed their Tumblr page :-/ I don't suppose you know if they posted it anywhere else?

I’m sorry to say I don’t remember ANYTHING about this and I’m really sad about that - tumblr friends, anybody know anything?

Hi so I frickin love the"It Had To Be You" Kingdom Hearts story you wrote, its like the best pick me up Ive ever come across (published, non published, movie etc) kinda like you bottled sunshine. But the reason Im sending this ask is for your fanfic knowledge and interest in 90s stuff. Did you ever watch Don Bluths Thumbelina? I've a vision of Prince Riku gliding around with Sora to "Let Me Be Your Wings" and I was wondering if theres a fanfic for this that you know of & I lost track of?Thanks

AH hi hello thank you! secret fun fact: I’m currently in the process of rewriting It Had to Be You - I’m going to hold onto this comment and cry about it later, thank you. I haaave seen Thumbelina, many many many years ago, but I’m afraid I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a fanfic inspired by it (which is a SHAME). I’m sorry!
