This is my daily struggle, I had so many arguments with people with off-leash dogs (in a mandatory leash area!!!). Thanks to this behavior I'm struggling with Kim being anxious/aggressive with other females as she often gets involved in unpleased interactions with free females while on leash. And every single time that I ask for the dog to be at least recalled, I'm being called names and insulted of course.

i would rather someone live out the rest of their life dependent on or addicted to a pain medication that helps with their pain, than suffer in pain that could be helped for the rest of their life just so self-righteous dicks can say "thank god they're not an addict"

This attitude of doctors gatekeeping pain medication ends up effecting black people at much higher rates than the rest of the population

Also this plays a huge role especially in Sickle cell patients, who deal with unimaginable pain daily and opiods are one of the best pain management options we have for them, but many Sickle cell patients have a really hard time finding doctors that will adequately treat them, even though Sickle cell patients are exempt from the opiod guidelines.

Bottom line, everyone deserves access to make informed decisions regarding their own body. Even if you disagree with that decision or think you know better than them.

There is a difference between ADDICTION and PHYSICAL DEPENDENCY

and if you’d rather people suffered needlessly than RISK getting addicted (or, more likely, physically dependent) on their painkillers, you suck and you should re-evaluate your priorities.

I love Booker's introduction because it is a villain's introduction. We see him from behind, and there's a shot where his shirt lifts and we see the gun in his waistband so we know he's armed. There's such cinematic tension. He's on a motorbike, and it feels like he's chasing Andy. She's looking over her shoulder. The bike is loud, it's fast. But when he stops in front of her, she smiles. The nuance, the thought behind it. It really sets up his arc in the first shot. He will betray her, and she will forgive him anyway.

So I just saw a post by a random personal blog that said “don’t follow me if we never even had a conversation before” and?????? Not to be rude but literally what the fuck??????????

I’ve had people (non-pornbots) try to strike conversation out of nowhere in my DMs recently, and now I’m wondering if they were doing that because they wanted to follow me and thought they needed to interact first. I feel compelled to say, just in case, that it’s totally okay to follow this blog (or my side blog, for that matter) even if we’ve never talked before.

Also, I’m legit confused. Is this how follow culture works right now? It was worded like it’s common sense but is that really a thing?

Saw a sharp increase in my follower count after posting this. The legitimacy of it is driving me nuts so I also feel the need to say that you can follow anyone on here regardless of whether you’ve interacted with them or not. People like the above mentioned blog are exceptions. Perhaps they themselves think they aren’t and therefore will act like they aren’t, but they are, trust me.

Just follow anyone you wanna follow. The worst thing that can happen is maybe getting soft-blocked by the other person, but if they do soft-block you, then they were never that worth following in the first place.

I don't know what soft-blocking means, but you definitely don't need to interact with someone before following them.

I vastly prefer people not message me out of the blue, because I will assume they are bots. lmao
