I always hoped I’d be the kind of person who has the courage to change things about my life that didn’t align with my values anymore.

Hopefully I am.

Upheaval often sets the stage for growth.

From one of my favorite email newsletters:

During difficult periods, it can feel as if your life is in upheaval. Your very foundation feels compromised and it can be frustrating and disorienting.

However, we have to realize that the disruption may be in our best interests. Think about a garden. In preparation, the soil may be tilled in order to create fertile ground. It is only when the compacted soil is broken up that seeds can be planted. Not to mention that the tilling can also get rid of weeds.

When it comes to what you consider your foundation, does it leave room for expansion, or is it rigid and unyielding? Do your deepest beliefs allowing for any progress? Is it possible that your core needs some shaking up?

In the end, only three things matter: how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.

Osho on Seeking Attention

It is one of the human weaknesses, one of the deep-rooted frailties, to seek attention. The reason one seeks attention is because one does not know oneself. It is only in other people’s eyes one can see his face, in their opinions he can find his personality. What they say matters immensely. If they neglect him, ignore him, he feels lost. If you pass by and nobody takes any attention, you will start losing what you have put together - your personality. It is something that you have put together. You have not discovered it, it is not natural.  It is very artificial and very arbitrary. It is not only you who is a beggar for attention; almost everybody is. And the situation cannot change until you discover your authentic self - which does not depend on anybody’s opinion, attention, criticism, indifference, which does not have anything to do with anybody else. Because very few people have been able to discover their reality, the whole world is full of beggars. Deep down you are all trying to find attention; it is nourishment for your personality.  Even if people condemn you, criticize you, are against you, that is acceptable, at least they are paying attention to you; if they are friendly, respectful, of course that is far better, but you cannot survive as a personality without some kind of attention. It can be negative, it can be positive, it doesn’t matter. People must say something about you; respectful or disrespectful, both fulfill the same purpose. I would like you to think about the word ‘respect’. It does not mean honor, as it is said in all the dictionaries without exception.

This is my facial wag regimen for the Fall! I love to use the YesToCucumber wash for daily use. The honey really helps my skin become moisturized. The Aztec Healing Clay Mask mixed with Aloe Vera Juice from “Lily of the Desert” is great! It’s so refreshing as well as leaving your skin soft and smooth! And the sweet almond oil is an amazing finish as a leave in moisturizer!

Step 1: wash your face with YesToCucumbers or any YesTo daily wash that you like.

Step 2: mix two tablespoons of Aztec healing Clay with Aloe Vera juice (until the mixture is smooth with no clumps).

Step 3: apply mixture to face and leave on for 10-15 minutes. For sensitive skin 5-7 minutes.

Step 4: rinse face with Lukewarm water and pat dry.

Step 4: massage the honey onto the face (as much as desired) wait five minutes, then rinse.

Step 5: use any moisturizer, I prefer sweet almond oil or coconut oil and massage onto the face as a leave on moisturizer.

Step 6: state at yourself in the mirror and see the difference.

All thanks goes to HeyFranHey!
