Part 1 She followed him as he moved about the ship. “Hm.” Was the amused answer he received for both his questions and his rather suspect behavior with both ship and accompanying warlock.  “You seem to make a lot of assumptions about me.” The words were pure velvet as she peered over the edge at the churning water. “The fact of what I am interested in..or how and what could rattle me, change my mind or make me reconsider a rather brash decision. Really you could look at the effects of my life on my person to see just how well I handle brash decision” She tsked softly, sliding one sharp nail on the wooden railing.  “One would wonder, why... when so adamant about your dislike of my being, why you seemed so quick to accept my help. Planning to feed me to some trolls are we sweetheart? Or perhaps cannon fodder?” Her tone was razor sweet and the underlying darkness a taunt note beneath the words. It stirred in almost a whisper behind those ever grinning lips. “Taking me off into the middle of a jungle seems like a lot of effort on your part to be rid of me...darling.” The last pet name was almost a purr.  @nixalegos

"You're about the last person I expected to see here Felblood. What's your angle this time?" He spat out as if chewing tough leather.

Ixinane’s head canted towards the sound of his voice but her dark eyes did not stray from the milling military beneath the arch they found themselves upon. “You missed me..admit it.”

The warlock started with a toothy grin. “Now where would I be? The entirety of the Horde is holding its collective breath and when it is released all hell with break loose.” The blonde woman ran her tongue over an unnaturally sharp K-9. “Wartime -loves- what talents I provide, and who better to bring into hell hm?”

“Maybe, but my aim is getting better.” He shot back, coming to stride closer to the waters edge of the Zandalri dock. “I’ll take a stab, perhaps the sangromancy of the Blood trolls? Or waiting on a ship to visit Drustvar? I hear their unique death magics of the local witches have been quite the draw for many of our lot.” Only for him to cross his gauntleted arms, the clink of metal on metal audible. “Regardless, you cannot convince me your intentions are anything but selfish, so you might as well indulge me with your goal. You didn’t come out of the woodwork out of loyalty to your people.” @stormcren

Ixinane let out a throaty laugh before sucking in the salt air between her teeth. She flicked a long black nail against the armored limb he crossed.

“What kind of villain do you take me for hm? One that would just divulge their plan to someone’s poor excuse for a hero?” The warlock shook head with a click of her tongue. “Come now love, you’ll have to do better then that. If you want a taste of what rolls around in my deliciously wicked mind, you’ll have to sweeten the deal hm?”

“Really, you think of yourself that way?” He said with contempt. “Forget it, hopefully I’ll simply read a report of how your mangled corpse was found used in some backwoods wicker charm.” Only to turn to the waters edge. A nearby vessel started the slow process of docking, and a moment of truly awkward silence passed between the warlocks. “…We’re waiting on the same boat, aren’t we.” He announced with displeasure at fates cruelty. Worse, they looked to be the -only- people getting on that particular ship. With a melodramatic sigh of resignation he spoke. “Fine. You want me to sweeten it? I’m seeking scrollwork that shouldn’t exist. The blood trolls of Nazmir worship this…Ghuul, Gthuun? Gthuun. Yes that sounds right. A supposed loa of blood. But there was another loa before who claimed that domain, and despite the natives of Zandalar knowing it by name, I see no statues, no priesthood, not even a mention of it anywhere in this city. And it occurred to me, in a city made of gold, that the only thing worth hording is secrets. I’m chasing a lead now to find a Gurubashi priest who knows of a scroll of the written works the first Blood God, the Soulflayer shared to its then believers, and ‘convince’ them its in their best interest to aid me.” He said. “So. You going to indulge me now with your own chase in this fetid over humid city or what?”

She hid her amusement, badly. Amusement sparked through dark eyes as the thin warlock followed her less then enthusiastic companion onto the boat. What was left of this particular blood elf made sure to stand directly in his line of sight as they boarded the ship, making it plain, that on her end she could make his trip very long indeed as a wicked smile spread across her scarred lips.  As he spoke of his goals, her expression changed. From easy and perhaps a little bit of spiteful amusement came a thoughtful attention paid to his future endeavor with a cant on her head. Perhaps more then just an interest. “Oh I think my plans can wait.” That feral smile returned. “I think yours sounds sooo much more interesting darling...I think I’ll simply just... come with you.” If her smile could spread any larger across unnaturally pointed teeth, the felblood’s face might just split in two. Trapped on the ocean she was having a grand time annoying her companion. “Who can say no to chasing secrets and a mysterious loa hm?” @nixalegos
