Subtle Mickey nails seemed appropriate for the first week at my new job! It feels so good to be able to wear nail polish and jewellery and wear my hair down and just BE ME! Yaaay!
I'm so happy to say that I now work for Disney! And in the department I'm based, I ALLOWED TO PAINT MY NAILS! I'm just so excited to be able to enjoy my passion again. Due to my job and shift patterns, there was never any point in doing my nails nice. BUT NOW I CAN DO THEM ALL THE TIME! Expect more posts!
Sooooo my earring collection is growing and I ran out of room. So I made this frame, like, it used to look like the first picture, and now it looks like the second. It's so handy, and also fits in really well with the style of my room!
I went to a hen do, and since I hate dressing up, I have no dressy clothes, so my lovely friend Emily helped a sista out. I copied the pattern on the skirt and painted it onto my nails.
Happy Easter! Just a simple Easter design.
Sorry I'm a bad person and never post anymore. I feel bad for saying this, but I think I'm starting to lose my passion for nail art due to the fact that when I can paint my nails, I can't keep them on for long because I have to take them off for work, therefore I never to anything fancy coz it seems like a waste of time. I really do look forward to having a job where I'm able to paint my nails and not have ugly hands. Anyway, I did this nail art a few weeks ago. It was my first go at using striping tape (as you can see, it's a little messy), I used to class striping tape as cheating (I still class stamping as cheating), but I had seen this look online a few times, so I thought I'd try it out myself. Again, sorry for never posting. I mightn't post as often anymore, but I will still post whenever I do anything crafts or nail art related. Thanks for still following!
I've done a bit of updating to my Etsy store. I am now selling handmade wreaths! I've some lovely Mother's Day wreaths up for sale, and even my Frozen wreath, perfect for Frozen parties and bedrooms!
That's my new short hair, hehe!
Happy Valentines Day! No, these are NOT 50 Shades of Grey nails, I am anti 50 Shades!
Happy Villaintine’s Day
Some nail updates. I'm loving this mustard polish, and the dark grey lines on the cuticle really make the colour pop! And I paired up this Sally Hansen glitter that my friend got for me, with a Barry M autumn colour. Both of these designs are so easy to do, and much more fun than a plain colour!
I've had this Barry M glitter polish for over a year, but never used it until now. This would look amaze with a ton of other colours too, I think this might become a regular look!
I went to see The Lion King before Christmas, what an amazing show! I would've liked to have done something more detailed, but I was running low on time!
My nails always seem to have bad luck over the festive season, so unfortunately I had to cut them all down. Rather than the traditional Christmas print that I usually go with over Christmas, I decided to paint some pretty poinsettia's!
Soooo as you might be able to tell, I made a few Christmas decorations over Christmas, I had these bauble left over so I was like OMG, I can totally make a Frozen wreath. I made the little Olaf outta clay! I'm thinking of making more Disney and traditionally wreaths this year and selling them. So, watch this space!
Sorry for being such a bad blogger. Hope you've all had a happy 2015 so far!
Merry Christmas everyone!
Here's another bauble garland I made for my mum. They're super easy and cheap to make!
