so, after a hella long hiatus, i am officially back to the 1x1 world (even though i barely know how to use tumblr anymore)! Just because you want a character does not make you entitled to that role. Just because you see that character has been inactive does not make you entitled to that character or mean that you’d be more dedicated to that character. The character already belongs to someone else – FIND A DIFFERENT ONE!! Don’t wait – that’s disrespectful to the person who already has that role. It puts pressure on them. It’s like people are waiting for you to fuck up.
Stop asking admins to do activity checks. Stop saying “so-and-so hasn’t posted in x days”. STOP.
