I had my ps plus disabled for a year and it auto renewed when I wasn't looking. Wasn't exactly happy about it but games wise there's a bunch of things I have been meaning to play that are free now. Onee Chanbarra Origin, Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, the Nier Replicant game, and Fallout 4. I'm playing Fallout 3 on the laptop right now. Also finished Fallout the series. I was pretty satisfied with it as a whole. It is paced in a way that it learned a shit ton from Lost. You could call it the anti-lost. Not going to spoil anything but I think it wraps things up in a self contained way for a season. I would like to see more but if I didn't that's fine. Finished this online background check. Felt a bit dystopian when I read the site. My general impression of the job market the last three years is that they want the gate to close on you. It hasn't been at all easy to transition to another role. And behind the scenes there's this vibe that people are trying to hint stuff at you but won't say anything. If I didn't take something and move on with my career I might not have the options later on to do something else. Somewhere else. Nothing in my life is clear or straightforward. So I figure it's best to simply move on and make some income. It still doesn't feel as real as I'd like it to feel. I still have a lot of things that happened to me that I'm just excusing away. It hasn't really been fair at all. And I fear that is just the way it is. I don't want to get trapped between presidencies in the United States that turn ugly without being able to pay the bills. I also don't know that long term I want to stay in Chicago either. But for now it would be nice to work again and worry less about spending every day hoping someone looks at my resume. So on that front, I'm sort of on my way there.

Background checks are kind of gnarly nowadays. But I finished an online one. Definitely need a pdf copy of your college transcripts these days on hand.
