I’M BACK

After a tiring year at university and bashing video games, I have returned to the world of roleplaying, on both Heimskr’s blog and Paarthurnax’s blog. If you want to do an rp, feel free to drop me a message, and we’ll figure something out!

“And how am I to know that once you complete this task, you will do the favor you promise me?” the daedroth questioned. “You mortals are capable of being more fickle than Beothiah and I combined.”

“I could of course offer you my razor, if I thought you worthy enough. It would be a pleasure to have it draw some blood again.” Not to mention that he’d take no small amount of joy from seeing this mortal attempt to disrupt the balance of power currently present in this land.

“I am a priest of a Talos, and I always keep my word”Heimskr paused, thinking about what an idiot he was being, but he carried on “I have not once gone back on a promise in my life, and I am determined to do something other than talk”

GUYS

I think I might give Tumblr up. I'm actually pretty annoyed with what was going. I understand people have their own lives and things, but when you don't reply to a thread for a over a week, and I see you on my dashboard roleplaying with other people, and I've sent you a message asking about a reply - It's not on for you to just make it look like it never existed. This happens way too much, and for a week or so now, I've been waiting on at least 5 different threads and I've heard nothing. So it kinda makes me feel like I'm not wanted here. So it's highly possible I'm just going to stop Roleplaying.

"Would you be able to, how do you say it, do me a favour?" Heimskr wasn’t the slightest bit nervous approaching the daedra

"Depends," the daedroth answered, only slightly impressed about the mortal’s seeming lack of fear for him. Had the prince gone soft or was this mortal an exceptionally stupid or brave individual? "Have you done me a favour?”

"I haven’t done one yet, Dagon. But aren’t favours repayed by one?" He spoke calmly and clearly, hoping the demon would get his point "I need someone killed, but she has far too much power for me to take her on myself. I need power, to take on her soldiers. Would be able to grant me that?" He paused "You wouldn’t have thought a priest of Talos would be bargaining with a Daedra, but changes must be made, and I understand you are the king of change, right?” Appealing to the Demon was supposedly the best way to sort a deal out

Dagon thought on the priest’s words in silence before grunting. He was intrigued in what this priest spoke of, but did not have sufficient information on the matter to truly decide on anything. “Who is this mortal you need killed?” he asked. “And what manner of power were you hoping I’d grant you? An artifact? Troops? As if I do not have anything better to do. Why can you not simply hire an assassin?”

"Because I want the honour of doing it myself. You see, she's very powerful, called Elenwen, the leader of the Thalmor here in skyrim, a blemish that needs to be gotten rid of. She harbours a hatred for me, and the feeling is mutual. I need power, to weaken her, before a confrontation. She'll never think a weak priest could eliminate half her reign"

Today was a day unlike any other. Overwhelming boredom overtook the Dremora, and thus, he’d donned his mask and hood, going out to sit under the tree and listen to any words that might have come from Heimskr today.

"We are but maggots, writhing in the filth of our own corruption! While you have ascended from the dung of mortality, and now walk among the stars!" Heimskr's voice was protruding from the small body of his. He watched the passers-by try and speed past him, so they don't hear too much of him. It's not very often someone sat down and could stand listening to him.

He walked over to the hooded figure "You there! Do you have a moment to talk about Talos?"

Starlwen drank the bitter potion and put her head back, trying to relax.

"Thank you. And yes, I need to get my ingredients. I was trying to extract some of their venom, without killing them…stupid idea, right?" She knew the answer. Sometimes, she didn’t think things through. Actually…she never thinks things through, really.

"Ah, Don't worry about it. These creatures are unpredictable. They'll let you take their Egg Sacs, but you take their venom and it's lights out" Jokingly, he offered her his hand

"Well, it seems my name and position carries weight around here, but I don't know yours" He spoke, almost proudly, if it wasn't for the fact his position and name had almost gotten him killed half the time

Starlwen had immediately knew whose voice it was when he had came up and spoke to her. Heimskr, the crazy priest in Whiterun. But any help she could get was appreciated. She had dropped her satchel deep in the cave, and had to make a run for it. She had almost died in there.

"Maybe not," she mused, "but I think I’m the crazy one here. So stupid," she sighed. Why does she always go into places she isn’t familiar with, thinking that she could handle it? Too ambitious, she was.

"I left my satchel in the cave after being bitten. It has all of my ingredients from Valenwood, the only ones I know to be able to fully heal a bite like this," even though the pain had subsided, she could still feel the venom coursing through her blood, and the lump was still there.

Calmly, he pulled out a potion of Cure Poison from his Knapsack "Mhm, Drink this. It'll stop the poison from spreading any further than it has, and you'll regain consciousness and stability. If you need something for your stamina, I have one of those too. But for now, the taxing part is getting your satchel back, right?" Heimskr always carried an excess of potions, as well as having as magic in hand. Quick-reflexed in case any Thalmor ambassadors caught him wandering
