Correct me if I'm wrong. Elizabeth, didn't receive an academy award, for cleopatra, did she?

Yes that’s right. She didn’t get one for her work in Cleopatra.

She received 3; one for best actress in Butterfield 8, one for Who’s afraid of Virginia Woolf and the humanitarian award for her fight against AIDS. :)

Every time Clark Gable walked into the commissary for lunch I just about dropped my fork. He was the epitome of a movie star -so romantic, such bearing, such friendliness. Years later he used to give me a peck on the cheek, which made me shiver. At that time, during the war, tables were never reserved, and I used to die in hopes that Clark Gable would have to sit at mine. - Elizabeth Taylor
