i cant stop thinking abt charlie gardner with long hair??? like omg think about his triplet little sisters trying to braid his hair but just tangling it so bad, him tying it up in a man bun when he’s in chem and riley pretending it isn’t really really cute?

omg ok riley probably being obsessed with his hair, stealing his conditioner, running her fingers through his hair whenever she can, putting it up with clips when he’s around the kitchen watching her try (and fail) to bake under the guise of “helping” even tho they both know it’ll just end up in a food fight!! (i love them so much) charlie’s older sister joking abt how he should cut his hair and riley is like “not ever, not ever ok?”

oh God sign me up for this especially when they’re older! 

  • this will give riley even more excuses to touch his hair especially when she tries to dust off the flour post-food fight.
  • riley runs her fingers through his hair sleepily the way @riarlies​ said here.
  • and charlie honestly likes it, plus he knows the long hair looks good on him anyway, so he promises he’s just going to have it “trimmed, not cut” every end of the month “just for maintenance, that’s all” at which riley scrunches up her nose because she doesn’t approve and he kisses her on the head to appease her. 
  • and that’s when he notices the smell of his conditioner in her hair.
  • “riley, did you use my conditioner?” and suddenly riley’s very interested in her fingernails.
  • “riley?” he kisses the top of her head again. still, nothing.
  • “i think i’ve been kissing you too mu-” “okay, i used it once!” riley hurriedly says, nervous that charlie might deprive her of kisses. “i know now why your hair’s so smooth. your conditioner’s better than mine,” she admits, but doesn’t tell him it’s also just her way of keeping him closer to her especially when they’re away from each other, doing their own thing.
