The Ismaili Mosque here won’t let you in unless your'e a member. I just think it’s kind of weird. I wanted to go one time just to talk to them for the sake of dialogue and unity but they’ve got some reasoning that I fully don’t understand. I think it’s kind of sad that you need a membership card to go to a mosque. If you go to any Sunni or Twelver Shia mosque, there’s no big controversy that’s going to happen with your membership. I find it surprising that a small minority of Muslims wouldn’t want to communicate with the rest of us, especially in a country where Muslims are the minority to begin with. This is just my understanding. They may have some reasoning that I really do not understand and there may be a misconception about this. If you know anything about this, or any Ismaili brothers/sisters want to explain, feel free to.
