After you left, it kind of felt like the ending of a poorly executed TV mystery. The kind where there are all these secrets poured into the storyline, but over time they get overshadowed by other problems and then are never addressed by the final episode. The screen turns black and the credits start to roll and you sit staring at the screen with such unease. The only things you can do is sit and wonder “Why that way? Why’d it have to end like that?” And then you realize you’ll never know the answers to any of these questions because it’s over, there’s nothing left. And you think over time your mind will get over it but days and weeks and months go by and you still find yourself questioning “Why?” because there’s still so much you want to know. Because you know it wasn’t supposed to end that way.
