PAPERJAZZ 03/04/17 EXHIBITOR: Rebus Books

Founded by Bill Kartalopoulos (of Best American Comics, SPX, ICAF, and many other noteworthy art organizations), Rebus Books publishes books of comics and other works of visual exposition that implicitly explore and reveal the expressive possibilities of the comics form. Rebus will be exhibiting their catalog along with a wide variety of books from around the world and throughout the years. We see this as an excellent way to contrast our local artists on the world stage as well as provide access to material that is seldom out for trade. Rebus’s table this March 4th ought not to be missed.

The Media’s annual year-end meeting and show is next Friday December 16 at the Silent Barn. Open meeting at 7:30pm to discuss the future of the project, upcoming issues, and the role that DIY publications like The Media should play in our communities in 2017. Following the meeting will be readings from Media contributors TBA and performances by Moor Mother, KAG (Katie Alice Greer of Priests solo) and Decisions.
