Real Madrid medical report | June 13, 2015 - Danilo, Marcelo, Luka Modric, Pepe and Karim Benzema all have injuries but they should be back in time to start the pre-season. Modric: A sprained knee sustained in the game against Málaga on April 18. Modric has since then recovered and will join the rest of the squad in full training after the holidays Benzema: Benzema was hit by a double-injury blow towards the end of the season - first a sprained knee and then a hamstring injury. Benzema spent a period of time recovering in Italy before the holidays. Pepe: He picked up a thigh injury against Getafe in the last La Liga game of the season but he had been carrying another injury since April (an injury in the vastus internus muscle in his right thigh). Marcelo: Picked up a lower back injury a week after Real Madrid’s last game of the season. Danilo: Picked up a right ankle injury in Brazil’s warm-up against Mexico.
